Michael Jackson's Niece Slams Ex Who Featured in 'Leaving Neverland', Claims He's out to Get Money
Brandi Jackson claims that Wade Robson lied about being abused on the controversial documentary 'Leaving Neverland.'
Michael Jackson's niece Brandi has spoken out in defense of the King of Pop after the recent documentary "Leaving Neverland" reignited the controversy surrounding his relationship with children.
Brandi had revealed that she had a relationship with one of Jackson's accusers, Wade Robson, whom she accuses of lying in an attempt to extort money from his estate.
"Part of what I have to say to that is, with Wade saying that he was afraid [he and Michael] would go to jail [if he revealed the abuse], Wade was a grown man when he testified the second time."
DAUGHTER OF JACKIE JACKSON DEFENDS UNCLE MICHAEL
Brandi, now 37, is the daughter of "Jackie" Jackson, the oldest of the Jackson boys, and a founding member of the Jackson 5.
She opened up to Jodie and Soda on Mix102.3, an Australian radio station, on March 12, 2019, about Robson, 36, who is Australian-born.
Brandi explains that she and Robson were introduced by Jackson who encouraged their relationship.
WADE TESTIFIED FOR JACKSON TWICE
Brandi points out that Robson testified in Jackson's favor twice, when the King of Pop faced charges of pedophilia in 1993 when he was 11, and again in 2003 when he was 22:
"If someone had been anally penetrating you and anally abusing you when you were 14 years old, and you had a chance to go on the stand and put that man away for the rest of his life so that he couldn't hurt anyone else, you'd do it."
WADE ROBSON HAD REPEATEDLY DENIED IMPROPRIETIES
Robson testified twice under oath that Jackson had never sexually abused him or behaved inappropriately. In the controversial documentary "Leaving Neverland" Robson gives a harrowing and detailed account of his alleged molestation at the hands of the icon.
BRANDI JACKSON'S RELATIONSHIP TO WADE ROBSON
Brandi reveals that she and Robson were in a relationship for 7 years, from the time she was 11, to her 18th year. She confessed that it was with Robson that she lost her virginity.
According to Brandi, this involvement refutes his claim that he was under Jackson's control and being sexually molested from the age if 9 until he was 14.
Brandi explains that she and Robson were introduced by Jackson who encouraged their relationship.
"LEAVING NEVERLAND" SHOCKS MICHAEL JACKSON FANS
HBO's Michael Jackson documentary "Leaving Neverland" has shocked the fans and the family of the King of Pop, and gave rise to a wave of angry protest against the alleged victims, Wade Robson and James Safechuck.
Unlike the previous documentaries about Jackson, "Leaving Neverland" does not touch on his music or achievements, but focuses exclusively on his controversial relationships with young boys.
In the 4 hour documentary, Safechuck and Robson describe in detail their grooming and the alleged sexual abuse they suffered at the hands of the music icon.
What the truth is, may never be known, but Michael Jackson's family, in particular, his children are devastated by the accusations against their late father.
