J.Lo’s ‘Exceptional’ Ring Could Cost up to $5M, but Here Are 4 Gems from Her Previous Marriages

Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez just got engaged and the singer's rock is as big as they come. But it's not her first. Let's have a look back at other engagement rings she's been given in the past.

Lopez and Rodriguez seem to be a match made in heaven. The two are always so positive and their kids get along great. The little ones are even rumored to play a "huge part of the wedding."

Rodriguez, 43, shared the news along with a photo of him holding Lopez's hand which now had a large engagement ring on her finger. The emerald-cut piece is reportedly worth up to a whopping $5 million.

According to the president of SuperJeweler.com, Andrew Fox, it probably has "between 11 and 15 carats, " which would make it worth up to $1.9 million.

However, CEO of Rare Carat Ajay Anand believes the ring might have 20 carats, making it worth $4.5 million. Vice president of Shane Co. Alicia Davis puts the value at $5 million with 15 carats simply because it's "expected to be exceptional."

This isn't Lopez's first ring though. She's gotten four in the past. It began in 1997 with her first marriage to Ojani Noa, a restaurateur. He gave Lopez a $100,000 ring before the two got married and called it quits with a year.

Lopez went on to get involved with Cris Judd. But by 2003, the pair divorced. He reportedly spent six figures as well on the engagement ring he gave Lopez.

The men took it up a notch in 2002. That's when Ben Affleck proposed with an estimated $2.5 million engagement ring. Alas, the couple didn't even reach the church hall.

Affleck reportedly canceled the wedding just four days before it was set to happen. At the time, the couple was overwhelmed by the attention from the media and it apparently took a toll on their relationship.

After ending things with the actor, Lopez got into a relationship with singer Marc Anthony. Again raising the bar, Anthony bought a $4 million, 8.5-carat blue diamond ring for Lopez.

The couple got married in 2004 and remained together for almost ten years. They share 11-year-old twins Max and Emme. They officialized their divorce in 2014.

When Rodriguez and Lopez wed, it will be the singer's fourth marriage. Right now, she's wearing her fifth engagement ring and whatever the true cost, it's a stunner.

The sweet proposal reportedly took place in Baker's Bay. When Rodriguez posted the photo, he captioned it with three simple words: "She said yes." The former baseball star has been married before only once.

He shares 10-year-old Ella and 14-year-old Natasha with ex-wife Cynthia Curtis. They were together for six years starting in 2002. In 2017, Rodriguez and Lopez began dating publicly.

However, the two actually met 20 years ago. As most men did at the time, Rodriguez had a crush on the rising singer and got an autograph from her way back then.

In 2005 while she was still married to Anthony, Lopez went to a Yankees game and was photographed nearby Rodriguez. Little did they know. When they came out in 2015, things took off.

They now share Christmases together wearing matching pajamas and are always making red carpet appearances together. Even Lopez's ex Anthony once took a picture with the adorable couple.
