Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez’s Kids Are Pals and Will Be a ‘Huge Part of the Wedding’

Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez are already excited to involve both their kids in their coming wedding. The mixed family seems to be a great example for others.

On Saturday, Rodriguez posted a photo that brought the sound of wedding bells to life. He finally proposed to Lopez after the pair dated for two years.

The singer and the former baseball player have grown to become Hollywood couple goals over just the last two years. They often share their love on social media for the world to see. So it was a treat to see that they will be married soon.

Part of their charm has been the shared parenting of their kids. Lopez has 11-year-old twins from her last marriage to Marc Anthony: Maximillian "Max" David and Emme Maribel.

Rodriguez has two daughters of his own, 10-year-old Ella and 14-year-old Natasha from his former marriage to Cynthia Scurtis. A source from PEOPLE reported that the two sets of kids get along very well.

The source said:

“For them both, they are still all about their family with the four kids. Their initial strong attraction for each other would have quickly faded if they had not been able to come together as a family."

Lopez and Rodriguez, who just celebrated their two-year relationship anniversary, regularly post pictures to social media showing shared activities with the kids. Lopez has made it clear in the past how much she loves the girls.

A recent post from Rodriguez celebrating the anniversary showed pics of the blended family. Apparently, the kids get along so well they've been waiting for their parents to get married.

Rodriguez announced the engagement in a photo showing him holding Lopez's hand. On her ring finger was a massive clear diamond rock.

In the caption, Rodriguez wrote simply: "She said yes." It really looks like the two are meant to be together. Congratulations to them and we wish them a happy life together.
