Mo'Nique stunned fans with a cool video showing off her slimmer legs while jumping double dutch recently. The star had famously dropped 100 Lbs.
The stunning Mo'Nique is sticking to her exercise regime in a fun way. She chose to test her skills with a cool double dutch inspired workout.
According to reports, double dutch requires a different level of physicality and finesse while being fun and a major calorie burner. The academy-award winning actress was joined by a group of friends for the epic workout.
The 51-year-old comedian and her entourage showed off their skills during a break from her "Mo’Nique Does Vegas show at the SLS Las Vegas Casino & Resort." They had so much fun they even threw out a challenge for anyone who thought they might have a better Double Dutch crew.
Mo’Nique revealed in her post how she began her double dutch journey. In her post, it showed that while she is now supposedly good at jumping in she struggled at first to jump within the ropes.
She eventually got the hang of it and was super excited. Earlier this month when she revealed that she was learning how to Double Dutch jump for the first time she looked adorably nervous.
Fans are loving seeing her attempts and took to the comments to share their thoughts. One wrote:
"Yo rock, keep it up jump roping is [fire emoji] for the cardio only need a few minutes."
Mo’Nique has tested a few different modalities to exercise. During her weight loss journey, she did variations of strength training, jogging, and dancing.
She took a liking to dance in particular. Her trainer, Dwight Holt, Jr has helped the star get in shape in a natural and healthy way.
“Just for me personally, I don’t believe in surgery because I’m deathly afraid of needles,” she said in 2017. “I didn’t want anybody cutting on me, sucking anything out, stapling nothing back together. So that young man, for the last three and a half years, has said, ‘Let’s put the work in, and that’s what it’s been.”
It's not the first time she has shown off her sexy new curves. She flaunted her slimmer curves in tight jeans and a black T-shirt last year as well.
"For me it was with no surgery, no pre-packaged foods, not listening to no spokespeople saying ‘it’s easy, you can do it.’ It was just putting in the work and not giving up on me," Mo’Nique said.
