One of the best-beloved comediennes of all time is undoubtedly Lucille Ball. The hilariously funny actress was also a woman of incomparable beauty, with dazzling blue eyes, and titan-red hair.

Sadly. Lucile passed away in 1989, but her spirit and her beauty live on in her descendants, especially Desiree Anzalone, who has inherited her great-grandmother's delicate beauty, and her courage.

Lucille Ball rose to stardom in the 1950s while starring in the sitcom "I Love Lucy," which became one of the most beloved programs in television history.

At first sight, Desiree seems nothing like her great-grandmother, with her long raven locks, and casual style, but a closer look at her blue eyes brings the startling resemblance into focus. She is Lucille as a brunette, with the same fragile beauty.

A FIGHTER LIKE LUCY

But like Lucille's, Desiree's apparent fragility is deceptive. When Desiree was only 25 years old, she was diagnosed with breast cancer. But she was able to beat the disease after bravely undergoing grueling treatment.

Desiree is the daughter of Julia, who is Lucille’s granddaughter from her son Desi Jr., who fathered her at 15 on a fashion model with whom he had an affair.

Desiree's early life was troubled. Through most of her childhood, her mother Julia struggled with cocaine addiction and worked as a stripper to support her habit, and allegedly help was not forthcoming from the Arnaz family.
