Diddy Shares Sweet Message to Late Kim Porter, Says Daughters Look and Act Just like Her
Single father P. Diddy gives credit to the mother of his children, the late Kim Porter as he shares a photo of their twins comparing them to her. The rapper has been stepping up as a father since the unexpected loss of his former girlfriend.
P. Diddy isn’t done paying tribute to Kim Porter even months after her passing. The rapper just shared photos comparing their two daughters to her.
It’s been four months since Diddy mourned the loss of Kim, his former girlfriend of 13 years and the mother of his three children. Kim unexpectedly died due to complications stemming from pneumonia in November.
"THE BABIES LOOK LIKE you AND ACT LIKE YOU. DOWN TO THEIR MANERISIM they’re you. And we miss you."
Diddy flooded his Instagram with a series of tributes since learning of her death. He considered the model his soul mate and described her loss as a nightmare he couldn’t wake up from.
The grieving father of six vowed to take care of their children, even Kim’s son from a previous relationship, Quincy. Their youngest daughters, twins D’Lila Star and Jessie James are the apple of their father’s eyes and he would often feature them on his social media with pride.
More recently, the music mogul shared a photo of the twins alongside an old pic of their mother. In both, they were joined by Kim’s father. Diddy noted the striking similarity between his daughters and their mother and addressed her in his caption.
“@ladykp look at your babies,” he writes. “They do everything like you. They take care of me and I take care of them Thank you for best family a man could ask for.”
Diddy also took the opportunity to “salute” Kim who he refers to as “queen” as he praised her for doing a "great job" raising their children and even him. He added,
“THE BABIES LOOK LIKE you AND ACT LIKE YOU. DOWN TO THEIR MANERISIM they’re you. And we miss you @ladykp#KIMSTRONG WE LOVE YOU MAMA”
Diddy’s post comes just days after he surprised his twins with bouquets of flowers during an event where they served as ambassadors. The 12-year-old girls posed for a pic as they revealed their father’s sweet gesture wearing white tutus after the Paw Works gala at the Four Seasons in Los Angeles. Their half-brother Quincy uploaded the photo on his Instagram.
Diddy has been very supportive of the girls who celebrated their birthdays in December. He threw them an 80s themed roller skating party just ahead of what would have been their mother’s 48th birthday. Last month, he obliged them by participating in their dance routine to the delight of his followers who witnessed the cute video on his Instagram.
Diddy is clearly stepping up as a father in the absence of Kim. But he continues to honor her legacy as he moves on without her.
