Ginuwine Melts Hearts with Sweet Surprise for Daughter on Her 18th Birthday
"Big Brother" star and singer Ginuwine surprised his daughter with a visit on her birthday.
Doting dad and singer Ginuwine surprised his daughter Story Lumpkin with an unannounced visit on her 18th birthday.
The "Big Brother" star shared a sweet video of the incident on his Instagram account, to the delight of his many fans.
”Since my baby girls moved, I don’t get to physically see them a lot other than FT. So once a month, I try to surprise them and it’s always something I look forward to because of the love they have for their dad. Love you."
A SWEET SURPRISE FOR HIS BABY GIRL
Ginuwine contrived the surprise with the connivance of Story's younger sister Dream, and his ex-wife rapper Solé.
Solé and Ginuwine were married in 2000 and separated in 2014, though they have remained close in parenting their two daughters, Story and Dream.
The singer has confessed that his strength comes from his love for his family and his children
LIVING APART FROM HIS GIRLS
Ginuwine confessed that living apart from his daughters has been hard on him and that he tries to visit them at least once a month.
Since his busy schedule keeps him on the hop, most of his visits to the teens are surprises.
GINUWINE'S TWO STEPDAUGHTERS
When he married Solé, Ginuwine became the stepfather to her two daughters from a previous relationship, half-sisters to his Story, 18, and Dream, 16.
Ginuwine is close to De'jan, 27, and Cypress Soleil, 24. and attended his eldest stepdaughter's wedding in June 2017, sharing pride of place with her biological dad, D Lee.
GINUWINE'S A DEVOTED FAMILY MAN
Ginuwine has always been a devoted family man, and he suffered from a deep depression after the death of his parents.
The singer's father took his own life, and less than a year later, his mother succumbed to cancer. He sang about his struggle to comes to term with his loss in his album "The Life" from 2001, featuring the song "Two Reasons I Cry" about the death of his parents.
GINUWINE NINE INCREDIBLE CHILDREN
The singer has confessed that his strength comes from his love for his family and his children - all nine of them.
The 47-year-old reality star revealed that he has seven daughters and two sons – four of which he shares with ex-wife Solé.
Ginuwine proudly boasts about his biological kids Ramonda, Tiffany, Elgin, Ginel, Tahjir, Story, Dream; and his stepchildren Dejan & Cypress.
Ginuwine may be planning to grow his family since he is becoming close to fellow "Celebrity Big Brother" housemate Ashley James, and the two have even discussed having children.
