Mary J. Blige Looks Magnificent in Plunging Metallic Gown after Receiving an Award from NAN

Mary J. Blige shared a photo of her fabulous look attending the NAN Keeper of the Dream Awards. The singer was an honoree and stunned in a metallic dress.

She was the recipient of an award from the National Action Network so naturally, Mary J. Blige accepted the honor in a stunning outfit.

The 48-year-old put her best fashion foot forward as she attended the awards ceremony honoring Keepers of the Dream at the Sheraton Times Square on April 3.

NAN is a civil rights organization founded by Reverend Al Sharpton in 1991. It aims to uphold the rights of citizens regardless of race, religion, ethnicity, citizenship, economic status or gender. Every year, the company honors activists in the fields of entertainment, business, and civil rights who’ve made an impact in their community. Past honorees include Samuel L. Jackson, John Legend, Denzel Washington, Harry Belafonte, Gloria Steinem, Magic Johnson, and Sean “Diddy” Combs.

METALLIC FASHION MAVEN

Accepting her Entertainment Award this year, Blige wore a long-sleeved metallic dress with black and grey prints and flaunted her cleavage with its plunging neckline. Her tiny waist revealed itself as the midsection of her floor-length dress gathered in ruffles around it. She kept her hair sleek straight and it cascaded down her back as giant bejeweled earrings grazed her shoulder blades.

To complete her look, the stylish rapper matched her dress with smoky eyes and light-colored lips. Her tan shimmered from the flashing lights of the camera.

Blige’s glow up was featured on her Instagram where she also expressed gratefulness for her award.

“Thank you @real_sharpton & @nationalactionnetwork for the Entertainment Award tonight. I am so grateful!” she wrote.

BIKINI BABE

Blige, who finalized her divorce from her husband, Kendu Isaacs last year, has been calling attention to her enviable body. On her birthday in January, she flaunted her curves in sizzling bikinis while on vacation in Los Cabos, Mexico. The affair celebrated with friends saw the singer cruising on a yacht and lounging under the sun. Blige declared she was “living my best life” when she captioned a pic from her vacation.

SELFISHLY SINGLE

Blige is certainly enjoying her singlehood and intends to keep it that way until a man with more money than her sweeps her off her feet. The singer revealed in an interview with BBC Radio 1Xtra that she’s “not taking care of any more men.” Blige’s comment stems from her experience with her former husband who she discovered was using her money to fund his extramarital affair. Moreover, she was obligated to pay him temporary spousal support after their divorce.

Blige was recently rumored to be dating a mystery man she was spotted with at the BAFTA Awards in London. The man had a security team and a bulletproof Mercedes. We should hope the man is within Blige’s criteria of someone she would consider seeing. She’s reportedly worth $20 million.
