NeNe Leakes Celebrates Husband's Recent Achievement with Sweet Video of Them Dancing Passionately

NeNe Leakes continues to celebrate her husband’s recent achievement with a “couple” dance session one day after sharing the good news with fans on social media.

The “Real Housewives of Atlanta” star has cause to rejoice. Her husband, Gregg Leakes, completed six months of Chemotherapy on Wednesday and after celebrating with his medical team, the couple spent some time dancing.

NeNe shared the clip of her and Gregg digging it out to a song in what looked like her clothing store. For the most part, she displayed one raunchy move after another, much to the delight of Gregg who hugged his wife at the end of the video.

Always the one to say things as they are, NeNe called out her husband

“Still celebrating you,” NeNe, 51, wrote in the caption.

But the Leakes did not stop there. The “Swagg Boutique” owner also threw a party for her husband at his request.

From a video montage NeNe shared to social media, the event was a lot of fun with family and friends, food, dancing, and all-round laughter.

“And...The celebration continued!” NeNe aptly captioned the video.

She continued:

“Gregg wanted an ole sckool kitchen house party like yo momma would have back in the day! Nope not the basement! When I tell you we had a ball...It was EVERYTHING!”

Five months after NeNe revealed on “RHOA” that her husband had been diagnosed with stage 3 colon cancer, she finally shared on Instagram the good news that Gregg completed six months of chemotherapy on April 3rd.

That occasion was marked with the ringing of a symbolic gong and tears of joy as Gregg hugged all the nurses and hospital staff that had been there for him all this while.

“PS: Thank you to all of our family, friends, fans, doctors, and nurses who lifted us up in constant prayer, sent recipes, doctors info, gave advice and gifts! We love you,” NeNe wrote in a lengthy caption accompanying the post.

The TV diva deserves a lot of kudos as well. Gregg’s diagnosis was a rollercoaster for her as she assumed the role of caretaker and was always at the receiving end of his grouchy attitude.

Always the one to say things as they are, NeNe called out her husband several times, describing him in a since-deleted tweet as “mean, grouchy and evil.” She even once wondered if the cancer was karma for him cheating on her.

Meanwhile, Gregg, 64, openly admitted his faults earlier this year and confessed that he’s tired of hurting his wife.

Even the most genuine love gets tested, and we’re happy to see that the Leakes remain a team even after battling the beast called cancer.
