Miranda Lambert Makes First Ever Public Outing with New Husband and Dazzles in a Sexy Neon Gown

In February, country singer Miranda Lambert revealed that she’d secretly married Brendan McLoughlin. On Sunday night, the couple made their first public appearance at the ACM Awards.

For the special occasion, Lambert wore a neon green gown that accentuated all her curves.

Miranda Lambert, 35, walked the red carpet at the 54th annual Academy of Country Music Awards (ACM) at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas. Alongside her was her new husband, Brendan McLoughlin, 28.

For their public debut, Lambert wore a curve-hugging neon green dress and accessorized with a metallic clutch. Her husband chose a simple black suit, allowing the attention to be focused on his wife.

McLoughlin is a model-turned New York Police Department officer. He attended the awards ceremony with his wife to celebrate her nomination for Female Artist of the Year.

Lambert’s husband also got to see her perform at the event. On Saturday night, the newlyweds were seen in the crowd at Aerosmith’s concert in Las Vegas.

The pair started seeing each other after meeting on the set of "Good Morning America" last November. At the time, Lambert was performing on the morning show with her band, Pistol Annies.

The country singer officially confirmed her wedding in mid-February on the Valentine's Day week by posting two romantic wedding photos. She captioned them:

"In honor of Valentine’s Day I wanted to share some news. I met the love of my life. And we got hitched! My heart is full. Thank you Brendan Mcloughlin for loving me for.... me. … #theone."

The singer divorced fellow country star, Blake Shelton, in 2015, after they were married for four years. After Lambert announced her marriage to McLoughlin, a source shared about their future plans.

The insider said:

"We've never, ever seen her so happy and think she's finally found her one and only. Miranda and Brendan both want kids. [She] never felt ready to have children until she met Brendan and now she's excited to be a stepmom. She even says it's great practice for when she has a baby."

McLoughlin already has a 5-month-old baby from a previous relationship.

The source gave more insight into their relationship saying:

"Brendan makes Miranda feel grounded, centered and very safe. Everyone has been loving that she fell for a man in uniform. Miranda is relieved to have found someone who isn't in the music industry. Brendan is perfect for her."

McLoughlin once created a modeling profile form himself on Model Mayhem, a website for models to network and find jobs. The profile read, “My name is Brendan McLoughlin. I am 19 years old and live in New York. I am on this site to build my portfolio.”
