T.I. Honors Late Sister and Her Sudden Death in ‘T.I. & Tiny: Friends & Family Hustle' Season 2

T.I, his family, and co-stars paid tribute to his late sister, Precious Harris, in the season 2 trailer for their reality series “T.I. & Tiny: Friends & Family Hustle” which airs April 15.

Precious died in February after getting into a car accident, and if the new “Family Hustle” trailer is anything to go by, the Atlanta woman meant a lot to her friends and family.

“She always just reminded me that this too shall pass,” T.I can be heard saying in a clip from the trailer.

Singer Monica Brown, who dedicated a song to Precious while the latter was still fighting for her life, added:

“It just breaks my heart, and then she vibrant — I don’t think she would want us moping around sad; Precious loved to have fun!”

In another scene, T.I, his wife Tiny, Monica, and other cast members Toya Wright and LeToya Luckett, raised their glasses to Precious as he declared: “We’re going to rejoice!”

Precious was T.I’s older sister, and according to a police report, she suffered an asthma attack while driving the rapper’s 2013 Dodge Avenger and passed out at the wheel.

"While we’re all Happy to see you get your well-deserved wings of eternal peace free from pain, worries, & anguish."

After spending a little over a week in the ICU, Precious passed away on February 22 at the age of 66. She is survived by three children: Kamaya Chapman, Avis Chapman-Reese and Kareem “Plug” Chapman.

Following his sister’s death, the “Dime Trap” rapper took to Instagram with several emotional tributes in celebration of Precious’s life.

“While we are saddened that our beloved Precious is no longer with us, she will forever have a special place in our hearts and our family,” read one statement across a photo of the deceased. “I was such a lucky man because you were my sister, you were there every step of the way…always helping me become my best self. I/We could not have done it without you. Forever grateful, your baby brother, TIP.”

The accompanying caption was even more touching:

"We ALL Love You, Miss you, & Appreciate you for your love, service, & lifetime dedication to US!!! And while we’re ALL Happy to see you get your well-deserved wings of eternal peace... free from pain, worries, & anguish... But Still WE ALL REALLY HATE TO SEE YOU GO!!! …We’ll be miserable for a while for missing your physical presence, but your lessons of love, words of wisdom & historical memories WILL NEVER DIE!!!”

Away from Precious’s painful death, season 2 of “T.I. & Tiny: Friends & Family Hustle” will also explore Monica’s impending divorce from her husband of eight years and the birth of Luckett’s daughter Gianna.
