Meghan Markle and Prince Harry recently opened their own Instagram account, and fans are convinced that the Duchess of Sussex runs the account herself.

The Duchess, who is awaiting the birth of her first child, might be busy posting updates on social media. Fans could not help but notice how the royals’ Instagram @SussexRoyal’s posts are uploaded with captions that have Americanised spellings.

Meghan deleted her personal social media accounts in January 2018 before marrying Prince Harry. She even shut down her lifestyle blog “The Tig” last April.

The royal couple’s recent Instagram post about the work of “WellChild” and “Baby2Baby” has American versions of certain words in the caption, including “organization” instead of the British version “organisation” or “re-energized” instead of “re-energised.”

Other than the lingo, the royal couple’s Instagram is also full of colorful emojis, unlike other royal Instagram accounts.

Meghan and Harry’s first Instagram post features an array of never-before-seen pictures taken around the world during their solo and joint engagements, including an unseen photo of the royal couple in Fiji.

“Welcome to our Instagram,” they captioned the post. “We look forward to sharing the work that drives us, the causes we support, important announcements, and the opportunity to shine a light on key issues. We thank you for your support, and welcome you to @sussexroyal.”

Previously, Prince Harry and Meghan had a shared account with the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge.

According to a source, Prince Harry had a Facebook account during his college years under the name “Spike Wells”. The account is no longer active.

A separate Instagram account is not the only thing that the royal couple got. Meghan and Harry will soon be splitting their household from Prince William and Kate.

The couple will officially move to Frogmore Cottage, which will be created by the support of Queen Elizabeth and Prince Charles.
