Jennifer Lopez’s Fiancé Spent 3 Days Rehearsing His Proposal: ‘I Wanted the Sunset to Be Perfect’

Jennifer Lopez has the sweetest fiancé in the world right now! Alex Rodriguez recently revealed how it took him six months to plan his proposal to Jennifer. He wanted everything to be perfect, which is pretty evident in the way their engagement pictures look so stunning.

The former baseball player revealed how it took him a year to prepare everything so he could pop the question to JLo. We can totally get where he is coming from, after all, the pop queen deserves no less.

Alex popped the question to JLo during their vacation in the Bahamas in May. To ensure that everything is perfect for the special day, Alex rehearsed his proposal with the help of his assistant.

During an episode of “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon”, Alex revealed how it all went down.

“I planned it for about six months and it was on a beach in the Bahamas,” Rodriguez told Fallon. “I had the ring, but what was interesting is the three days prior to me going down on one knee and getting engaged was I rehearsed three days in a row.”

“I wanted the sunset to be perfect.”

He further revealed how he had his assistant with him who helped him set everything in place.

“One time the sunset was at 6:27 [p.m.], the next day 6:29 [p.m.] and then the third day it was raining. So, I kind of came out at around 6:29 [p.m.] and it worked out well,” Rodriguez said of the big day,” he shared.

Jennifer undoubtedly felt super special as she shared the image of the romantic proposal on her Instagram account.

Meanwhile, Ellen DeGeneres commented on the post saying she will the maid of honor during the couple’s big day.

Previously, Jennifer shared how she and Alex reconnected during an episode of Ellen’s show.

“I was having lunch somewhere and I saw him as he passed by. Afterward, I went outside, and for some reason, I felt like tapping him on the shoulder," Jennifer told Ellen.

She went on to reveal how Alex made the next move by asking her out on a dinner date later on.
