Meghan Markle's Father Thomas Reportedly Breaks Silence over the Royal Baby's Arrival

Thomas Markle, the estranged father of Duchess Meghan, reportedly shared his thoughts and worries on the baby Meghan and Prince Harry welcomed on May 6.

After the boy, whose name has not been revealed yet, was born, several people, like Prince William, Duchess Kate, Queen Elizabeth, and Doria Ragland (Meghan’s mother), shared their thoughts the birth of the baby.

In William and Kate’s case, an Instagram post shared on Kensington Palace’s Instagram account revealed that the couple was “delighted with the news” and “look forward to meeting the latest addition to the family.”

THE FAMILY'S REACTION

A statement that Buckingham Palace shared also made clear that The Queen, The Duke of Edinburgh, The Prince of Wales, The Duchess of Cornwall, The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, Lady Jane Fellowes, Lady Sarah McCorquodale, and Earl Spencer knew about the birth and were happy about it, too.

Doria, who was by the Royal couple’s side at Frogmore Cottage, was also “overjoyed.” Knowing how difficult Meghan and Thomas’ relationship has been – especially in the past couple of years – people couldn’t wait for his reaction to the birth.

THOMAS MARKLE'S SUPPOSED THOUGHTS

In an interview Thomas supposedly had with The Sun soon after the birth of his sixth grandson was announced, the man admitted to being delighted to hear that his daughter and grandchild were doing well.

“I am proud that my new grandson is born into the British royal family and I am sure that he will grow up to serve the crown and the people of Britain with grace, dignity, and honor,” added Thomas.

Finally, the man sent his blessings to the boy, wished him “health and happiness, and congratulated his “lovely” daughter and her husband. “God save the Queen,” he finished.

MEGHAN'S BROTHER ALSO SHARED HIS THOUGHTS

Tom Markle Jr., Meghan’s brother, also congratulated the Royal couple and admitted to being happy for them. He made sure to address the difficult relationship the Markle family has had, too.

"All newborn babies bring entire families happiness and joy - they can even bring broken families back together again. Hopefully, this baby will help mend the family rift - we'd all love to meet the baby and become a part of his life - especially my dad. I'm hoping that becoming a mother will open up her eyes and shed light on what family means," Tom Jr. reportedly told The Sun.

At the moment, the details of the baby are still a secret. His name is expected to be revealed on May 8 when Harry said the entire family would officially present him to the media.
