Kim Kardashian West's First Reaction to the Birth of Her Fourth Child
The “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” star Kim Kardashian West took to Twitter to announce the birth of her fourth child.
Hours after Kim and Kanye West’ publicist revealed that their surrogate had gone into labor, the 38-year-old announced the big news on her Twitter account. “He’s here and he’s perfect!” wrote the makeup mogul.
With the birth of this baby, Kim and Kanye became parents for the fourth time. Their previous children are North, born in 2013, Saint, born in 2015, and Chicago, who was the first child they welcomed via surrogate, born in 2018.
Soon after her publicist revealed that the couple’s surrogate had gone into labor, Kourtney Kardashian, Kim’s sister, confirmed the news on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show,” surprising even momager Kris Jenner.
Kourtney appeared on the show next to her nieces and nephews. When Ellen asked why Kim, who was supposed to be with them, was not around, Kourtney said that she could not make it because her surrogate was in labor.
This new baby, whose name has not been revealed, became Kris’ ninth grandchild and third grandson.
In a recent tweet, Kim admitted that her son was “Chicago’s twin” and that even though she was sure he would change with time, “now he just looks like her.”
Instead of keeping the previous surrogate mother (the one who delivered Chicago), the couple decided to hire a different one. They were not dissatisfied with the first one, but she was not available.
