Ciara Cries on 'The View' After Mother's Day Surprise from Russell & the Kids (Video)

Ciara fights off tears as she's treated to an early Mother's Day surprise from her husband and children. "God is good" she says after losing it on "The View" where her surprise was revealed.

Mother’s Day came early for Ciara who became quite emotional when her husband and children surprised her on Friday with a touching tribute.

A TRIBUTE TO THE "SWEETEST WOMAN IN THE WORLD"

Ciara was promoting her new music video, “Beauty Marks” on "The View" when the show’s hosts introduced a video of her husband of almost three years, Russel Wilson who was with their children in Seattle.

“Hey C, I wish I was there with you right now. I know the kids and I, we’re back here in Seattle, we just wanted to wish you a Happy Mother’s Day,” the Seahawks quarterback says as Ciara’s surprised reaction turns into a tearful one.

Russell continued,

“There’s no one better than you, you’re the sweetest woman in the world, you truly give us love, you truly give us light, you change the world, you make the world a better place, you encourage, you inspire and I’m grateful I get to be your husband. I just love you so much.”

The clip was introduced after Ciara premiered her new music video which features footage from her 2016 wedding to Russell and the birth of their daughter, Sienna in 2017.

"WHEREVER YOU GO, I STILL LOVE YOU"

Joining Russell in his Mother’s Day tribute were Ciara’s son with rapper Future, Future Jr. and little Sienna. When the camera panned to the children, Ciara laughed and cried at the same time as she heard her son tell her, “I love you, you’re the best mom and I love you so much, wherever you go, I still love you” while Sienna climbed his chair.

Ciara’s face was soaked with tears at the end of the clip and she kept dabbing her eyes to prevent her makeup from smearing.

“God is good,” she says when she finally finds her composure.

SECOND HONEYMOON

This is not the first time Russell surprised his wife with a sweet gesture. In July 2018, he took Ciara on a second honeymoon and even shared details about it to his followers of Instagram. He said Ciara complained about their short first honeymoon which only lasted four days so he decided to give her a longer one after two years. They were in Tokyo when he shared the clip and claimed she was in for more surprises not knowing where they were headed to next. All she knew was that the honeymoon was going to last “7 days or more.”

Ciara and Russell have proven several in the past how strong their marriage is often doing things together and spending time with their children. There is no doubt they’re destined for more years together and possibly even longer honeymoons.
