Diddy's Son Christian Remembers Late Mom Kim Porter on Mother's Day (Photo)

Christian Combs, the 20-year-old son of the widely acclaimed rapper, P. Diddy took to Instagram to share a heartfelt message directed to his late mother on mother's day.

The post, dated May 12, mother's day, is a throwback photo of Christian and his now late mother, Kim Porter. The youngster made an adorable display as he captioned the picture with a heartfelt message.

“HAPPY MOTHERS DAY MOMMY!! I Love You And Miss you SOOO SOOO MUCH. I WISH I COULD HUG AND KISS YOU a MILLION times right now !!” – Christian.

The picture was taken on a beach and had the late “Mama; I Want to Sing” star crouching low to receive her little child's show of affection. Christian, still a toddler back then, held his mother's face in his little hands as he planted a kiss full on her mouth.

Kim Porter who was an actress and model passed away late last year in November from fatal complications of lobar pneumonia. Aged 47, her demise can be described as untimely and so, remains a tragedy to fans and her tight-knit family.

She especially enjoyed a great relationship with all of her children, and Christian, her oldest child with Diddy, especially makes this evident by never shying away from sweet displays of affection for her.

The budding adult seemed almost vulnerable as he took to Instagram in mourning shortly after Porter was announced dead. The simple message finished off with an angel emoji, read:

“I miss you, Mummy.”

The mother of four is popularly known to be the longtime partner of P. Diddy and the mother of three of his six children. Despite going on and off, the pair had a strong bond, one that is now more evident as the award-winning musician frequently honors the memory of the svelte beauty.

Christian, who is gradually carving a niche for himself in the music industry like his father, recently spoke to Power 105.1’s Angie Martinez about coping with the tragedy. He said:

“One thing I never really told anybody right when I found out the news…I was shocked; I didn’t know what to do. My whole world stopped. I was really down.” – Christian

It is evident that Porter will forever hold a special place in the Combs family. May her gentle soul continue to rest on in perfect peace.
