Remy Ma, Daughter Dress Alike & Strike the Same Pose in Cute Pics

Remy Ma is melting hearts all over Instagram as she rocks matching outfits with her daughter, Reminisce Mackenzie, in recent pics. Many fans pointed out the uncanny resemblance between the duo, but others focused on Remy’s parole ankle monitor, which she has been flaunting for weeks.

The “All the Way Up” rapper is basking in the joy of motherhood, and she can’t stop flaunting her adorable baby girl on social media.

In her most recent set of Instagram photos alongside 5-month-old Reminisce, Remy can be seen wearing a graphic white jacket and matching shoes, black pants, a see-through black top, pink sunglasses, and silver hoop earrings.

Baby Reminisce Mackenzie, on the other hand, donned a dress with the same print of Remy’s jacket, black leggings, white sneakers and a green headband tied around her curly hair.

The mother-daughter duo posed in the middle of Reminisce’s nursery, and the baby’s father, Papoose, was also caught on camera cradling his little girl in his arms.

FANS’ REACTIONS

Fans of the rapper were quick to fill the comment section gushing about the “Golden Child”—as Remy and Papoose nicknamed their daughter— while others couldn’t help but comment on the visible ankle monitor Remy’s been wearing for weeks.

“You look great, and your daughter is beautiful.. with or without the ankle bracelet.. that stupid thing doesn’t define you mama, and we all know that,” wrote one fan.

Another added, “She is Super Cute Remy!! She’s your twin! Love the matching fits!! So Happy for the both of y’all!!”

And a third one raved:

WHY IS REMY WEARIN AN ANKLE MONITOR?

Last month, “Love & Hip Hop: New York” rapper Brittney Taylor accused Remy of physically assaulting her backstage during the Pretty Lou Benefit Concert at Irving Plaza, near Union Square.

Taylor took to social media to share pics of her bruised eye, claiming that Remy was responsible for it, and went to police to file a report against Remy.

Two weeks later, Remy turned herself in to authorities and was booked for misdemeanor assault. She was released on a $1,500 bail and received a restriction order—meaning she is not to have any contact with Taylor—and an 8 PM curfew.

Remy is currently on parole after serving a six-year sentence in jail for shooting a friend over a money dispute in 2007.

The ankle bracelet could be a safety measure applied by Remy’s parole officer to make sure she stays in like while the assault case is still active.

REMY ATTEST HER INNOCENCE

However, Remy seems not to care about showing off her bracelet, and according to her lawyer, Dawn Florio, she maintains her innocence in the assault case.

According to what Florio told TMZ, Remy has security cameras installed in her house that show she was home at 9:30 PM on April 16— at the same time Brittney Taylor claims the attack took place.

Taylor and her lawyer have called witnesses or anyone who has video footage of the assault to come forward with it, but Florio claims there's no surveillance footage from Irving Plaza that backs Taylor's claims.

Florio also said that they have proof to back up Remy’s steps from that night.

After she left her house, she stopped at Target to buy some items for her baby and didn't arrive at Irving Plaza until around 10:45 PM, fifteen minutes before she was scheduled to perform at 11.

Although Remy seems to have confidence the case will be dropped, if she’s found guilty of the assault, she could go back to jail.
