Teyana Taylor's Daughter Junie Shows Her Swag in Teal Sweatsuit and Matching Sneakers
Teyana Taylor’s 3-year-old daughter, Iman "Junie" Tayla Shumpert, is showing off her “swag” gene and good fashion style in a new pic shared by her mom on Instagram, and fans’ can’t get enough of her cuteness.
Little Junie Shumpert is growing into her personality and her mom, Teyana Taylor, can’t deal with the girl’s hilarious expressions.
In a new pic shared by the rapper, Junie is donning a teal sweatsuit and matching sneakers as she stands with her hands in her sweater’s pocket and her hood covering her head.
“Who @babyjunie4 think she is? Lol, why she standing like ah baby muvaaah. This child forever makes my day lmfao,” Taylor captioned the post.
Fans were quick to fill her comment section gushing about Junie’s pose and personality.
“She’s so stinking cute!!! She truly has your whole demeanor and personality,” one user wrote.
Another added, “She looks like she been doing shows all week and is mf tired.”
And a third one raved:
“She so smart and woke overall. You and Iman made a magical child. She’s a lil star.”
AN UNEXPECTED BIRTH
Junie, the only daughter of Teyana and longtime boyfriend Iman Shumpert, came to the world one month ahead of her scheduled date of birth, taking her parents by surprise while they were away from home and their families in Cleveland.
Taylor didn’t notice she was in labor until her water broke while she was in the toilet. With no time to drive to the hospital, Iman had to deliver Junie with his bare hands while a 911 operator gave him instructions to make sure both the baby and the mother were fine until an ambulance arrived at the place.
Teyana later revealed that she never intended to have a natural birth, and the original plan was to be on a hospital, get an epidural, and be surrounded by family.
“I got so scared because I just knew, I’m one of them type of n****. I was getting an epidural, I was gonna have Monica sing to me — that’s Junie’s godmother — nana gon’ come pray. We had this all planned out,” the star said on “The Breakfast Club.”
Last year, Teyana shared the 911 call in a video montage made to celebrate Junie's 3rd birthday, telling her fans that the call "gets me in feelings every time."
TEYANA'S LUCKY CHARM
Despite the scare, Teyana and Iman consider Junie their “lucky charm,” as the rapper explained their professional lives took off after the girl’s birth.
“When I got pregnant, I just kinda had a whole other mindset. A different kinda grind, a different kinda hunger, a different kinda focus. Junie really made me a better person ‘cause she taught me to trust,” she told Vanity Fair.
So, when asked if there are plans for more kids on the way, she replied: “Ooh, not right now. This is Junie’s world. I don’t even know if Junie would approve.”
