Gucci Mane is crediting his wife Keyshia Ka’oir for inspiring as he celebrates three years since his release from prison and an apparent lifestyle change.

In 2016, Gucci was released from federal prison, but the “Trap” pioneer is not the same man he used to be, and it seems Keyshia had something to do with the change.

Gucci took to Instagram a few days ago with a video that was made by his wife. The rapper, appearing shirtless, flexed his taut abs while Keyshia laughed in the background.

The “Wasted” rapper caught a lot of criticism for his extravagant gift but didn’t seem to mind

Keyshia also showed off a chunky necklace on her husband’s neck that was embedded with their wedding picture and diamonds.

“Let’s show them your necklace that your wife bought you,” Keyshia said off-camera.

“Oh yeah! And my wife bought me this ring too,” Gucci chimed in while showing off the piece of jewelry on his finger.

In the caption, the rapper added:

“I got out the feds 3 years ago today. My wife was just a huge inspiration @keyshiakaoir. Thank You”

“You are more than welcome, my love,” replied the 34-year-old fitness/beauty mogul in the comments.

In February, Gucci caused a stir online after gifting Keyshia a 60-carat diamond wedding ring he described as an “upgrade” to his wife’s wedding ring.

The “Wasted” rapper caught a lot of criticism for his extravagant gift, but didn’t seem to mind, claiming the ring was “to [his] beautiful wife @KeyshiaKaoir Davis, for all the Valentines [he] missed.”

Still celebrating the third anniversary of his release from prison, Gucci, 39, also showed off ripped muscles in another post, stating: “3 years later and it only gets Greater.”

'Before I was incarcerated, I had gotten so overweight that I couldn’t fit into any of the clothes I wanted to wear'

The Brooklyn native, whose real name is Radric Davis, reportedly gave up drugs and alcohol; he also decided to commence his weight loss journey while serving time.

Gucci was arrested in September 2013 after a tip-off alerted the police to his erratic behavior. The rapper cursed and threatened to shoot the cops. He was also found in possession of marijuana and a loaded handgun.

Gucci stayed in jail until August 2014 when he was eventually sentenced to three years in federal prison on the charge of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

“Before I was incarcerated, I had gotten so overweight that I couldn’t fit into any of the clothes I wanted to wear,” Gucci once told Vogue of his decision to lose weight. “So with the time I was away, I decided I was going to lose weight so I could be able to wear all the brands that I really like.”

While Gucci was in prison, Keyshia, whom he’d been dating since 2010, stayed faithful to him. Following his 2016 release, the two tied the knot in a lavish 2017 wedding that cost over a million dollars and has since become known for their unabashed show-off of luxury possessions.
