Erykah Badu's Son with André 3000 Looks Just like Dad in New Video
Erykah Badu's son with Andre 3000 looks so much like his father that fans say they're twins. A recent clip reveals he also sounds and acts like Andre.
A recent clip shared by Erykah Badu has fans in shock. The singer’s son, Seven Sirus Benjamin with her former partner, Andre 3000 sat next to her inside a car and he was the spitting image of his father.
HIS FATHER'S TWIN
During Erykah and Andre’s four-year relationship some two decades ago, they sired a son, Seven who’s now 21. The young man who’s featured manning the wheel of a convertible on Eryka’s clip bears a striking resemblance to his father.
Mother and son are currently on vacation in Hawaii and they were enjoying an easy drive while singing Lil Yachty’s “Who Want the Smoke”. Apart from Seven looking like his father, one fan noted that he even sounded like him. His style, his mannerisms, a reflection too of his father’s. Commenters say he’s his old man’s twin.
This is not the first time Seven and Andre’s resemblance came to people’s attention. In June 2018, Erykah shared a photo of the three of them to commemorate Father’s Day. Andre and his son’s uncanny similarities were evident in the black and white pic.
HIS MOTHER'S SON
But while Erykah’s eldest registers so much like his dad, he is his mother’s son when it comes to how he was schooled. A few months back, Erykah revealed she homeschooled Seven along with his sisters Puma, 14, sired by rapper The D.O.C. and Mars, 10, whose father is Jay Electronica.
Homeschool as of late has become a family effort with Seven, Puma, and Jay helping her out with the education of their youngest in the family. Erica handles most of the subjects related to Math and Science, Literature, and Sociology while Seven who’s now in college takes care of Botany (his major) and Psychology. Grade 9 student Puma, who looks a lot like her mother, teaches Mars art and French while the 10-year-old’s father Jay teaches her world history and geography.
HER MOTHER'S DAUGHTER
Erykah’s devotion to her children’s education is a reason to laud her. She can also be credited for the amazing genes she passed on to them, particularly her daughter Puma who inherited her singing prowess. The 14-year-old recently appeared in a high school play where she impressed with her rendition of “One Night Only” from Broadway’s “Dreamgirls.” She belted out the tune effortlessly. Both her parents were proud of her rendition they each shared a clip on social media.
