Meghan Markle’s Lookalikes Who Played the Duchess on Screen Reunite for a Special Photo
Royal fans did a double take when two actresses who have played Meghan Markle on-screen shared a selfie photo!
Tiffany Smith plays the Duchess of Sussex in the just-released Lifetime movie, “Harry and Meghan: Becoming Royal.” She thrilled fans when she took to Instagram to post a photo of herself with another Markle lookalike, Parisa-Fitz Henley.
The photo has the women looking gorgeous despite being casually dressed. The adorable pair huddled up and smiled as Henley rakes the selfie shot. Given that both women have played Markle in Lifetime movies and bear a striking resemblance to the Duchess, the photo is fast going viral.
The women look so alike that they could pass for sisters. All they need is Meghan present, and they would easily make the daunting trio! Smith relayed that she has been getting to know Henley and expressed appreciation for her experience playing Markle through her caption. She wrote:
“Continuing the celebration of all things #BecomingRoyal. I am Thankful for SO many things that this experience has brought into my life. And high on that list is getting to know this queen! Love you, lady @parisafitzhenley.”
Since Smith shared the picture, it has amassed well over two thousand likes and numerous comments expressing awe at the close resemblance the women bear to Meghan Markle.
One user, @missbeautylipgloss said:
“@tiffany_smith This is amazing. The two “Meghan's” together. You both look great xx.”
Another @nikitadacunha also said:
“#twinning! You guys have really killed it in BOTH the movies, can’t wait to see the second one! @tiffany_smith @parisafitzhenley.”
Dated May 21, Smith’s post came before the premiere of “Becoming Royal” which tells the Markle's story on the days leading to the big royal wedding. The movie is a sequel to “Harry and Meghan: A Royal Romance” which had Fitz-Henley playing the lead role of Meghan’s.
It is heartwarming to find that the two women have forged a relationship off the screen. In a show of adoration, Fitz-Henley responded to Smith’s post saying:
“Tiffany I’m so grateful for you, your sweetness, your grace, and sisterhood! I love how much space there is for warmth — and silliness! — In this world and in this business! So excited for you! Can’t wait to watch you shine as Meghan!!”
When “Becoming Royal” finally aired on May 27, Memorial Day, Smith did shine just like her 42-year-old friend had predicted. It was during an interview with “Vanity Fair,” that Smith revealed how it had felt like playing a vital person like Meghan Markle.
“Taking on any piece of [Meghan’s] life, the tiniest part has been such a crazy, incredible honor for me. .It feels really lovely to get to have my first leading role be playing someone that I have so much respect for, though that definitely added a lot of pressure—wanting to do her justice as much as I possibly could.”
Going by how well she portrayed Markle and how famous she has become for it, Smith is one actress to watch out for!
