Ross, 75, joined in the celebration of the show's 50th birthday by sharing a clip to her Instagram of the time she joined the cast of the show.

She dedicated the song to her grandchildren, but in the comment section, the legend received tons of praise and adoration. The video is found below.

In the clip, a young Ross sang a song that encouraged children to believe in themselves. She stood next to a disheartened Big Bird, looking at him as she sang.

After the main verse, Ross passed by the children who joined in the singing. "Be-be-be-be-be-be, believe in yourself," they sang.

In the caption, she wrote:

"I'm sharing this with my GrandKids! @sesamestreet @BigBird #Sesame50."

The man behind the mask of Big Bird only recently retired from his role. In October 2018, Caroll Spinney called it quits as the legendary character kids came to know and love on the famous children show.

Ross performed the part in season 13 of the popular kids' show, and it later made its way into the "Sesame Street All-Star 25th Birthday: Stars and Street Forever!"

She's also been on another puppet-friendly series, "The Muppet Show," where she guest-starred in episode 424. Here's the full version of the "Sesame Street" song.

Ross has two sons, Evan Ross and Ross Naess, and three daughters, Tracee Ellis Ross, Chudney Ross, and Rhonda Ross Kendrick. Evan, Ross, and Rhonda followed in their mother's footsteps.

The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame member was honored earlier this year at the Grammys by her loving family. They gave her a birthday tribute during the award show.

Her grandson, nine-year-old Raif Henok Emmanuel Kendrick, made a special appearance at the event, warming hearts by introducing his grandmother for the tribute.

The icon later took to the stage to perform two of her greatest hits, “Best Years of My Life” and “Reach Out and Touch (Somebody’s Hand)." At the end of it, she balled out, "Happy Birthday to me!"

Daughter Tracee was recorded capturing precious moments of the occasion. Her famous mom currently has three other grandchildren, Leif Ross, Callaway Lane, and Jagger Snow.
