Kevin Costner Has a Big Blended Family - Meet All of His 7 Beautiful Children
Kevin Costner has seven children from three different women.
The Oscar winner has three children from Cindy Silva, one from Bridget Rooney, and three from Christine Baumgartner.
“My fundamental fear is that my new baby, someone else will raise him, meaning that my life will end prematurely."
Costner married Silva in March 1975. They started dating while in college. They were blessed with three children: Anne “Annie” Clayton, Lily McCall, and Joseph “Joe” Tedrick.
Costner and Silva ended their 16 years of marriage in 1994. The actor then had a brief relationship with Bridget Rooney, with whom he shares son Liam Timothy Costner.
ANOTHER SET OF CHILDREN
His three younger children were a result of her marriage to model and handbag designer Christine Baumgartner. The couple married in September 2004 at his ranch in Aspen, Colorado.
Cayden, their first child, was born on May 6, 2007, in Los Angeles. Their second child, Hayes, was born on February 12, 2009. Grace, their youngest child, was born on June 2, 2010.
Costner’s eldest daughter, Annie, now works as a film director in Hollywood. Lily, meanwhile, has followed in her father’s footsteps, working as an actress. Joe also pursued an acting career.
The “Hidden Figures” actor reflected on being a father to seven children.
“All of my kids are showered with love,” he said, explaining that he doesn’t pick favorites.
A FATHER'S FEAR
He also opened up about his fear of not being able to see her younger children grow into adults.
“My fundamental fear is that my new baby, someone else will raise him, meaning that my life will end prematurely,” he said of Cayden, who was born in 2007.
“I won’t get to coach him in what I think it is to be a man. I’d like to be the person that tell him about life.”
Costner is now taking the lead in a new series, "Yellowstone," where he plays his familiar cowboy role.
The 10-episode drama series is being filmed in Montana and Utah. It is the actor’s first regular television role.
