Magic Johnson Is a Proud Family Man as He Poses with Wife, Sons & Grandchildren

Ex-basketball player, Magic Johnson looks dapper in new photos with his big family and he had on a content smile.

The photos which were shared on Instagram show the big family rocking casual but chic looks while they posed for the camera. Magic’s caption indicates that the family had enjoyed an excellent time together and were relishing the after-effect.

The photos included Andre, Magic’s firstborn son, his wife Lisa and their two children along with Magic, his wife, Cookie, their reality star son, Earvin “EJ” Johnson and a friend who Magic identified as Cara.

The Johnsons are a family which is far from dysfunctional as the patriarch seems to foster a healthy relationship among his kids. Although Johnson’s first son, who was born in 1981, comes from his ex-girlfriend, Melissa Mitchell, the basketballer keeps up a close relationship with Andre.

While growing up, the younger Johnson stayed with his mom, but would often visit his celebrity dad. After a while, their relationship went a notch higher as the two began to do business together when Andre came of age.

At a time, the 38-year-old was in charge of his father’s business when he took on the role of vice-president. The young man has, however, moved on to become CEO of his organization, "Love + Light Ventures."

After Marrying Cookie Kelly in 1991, the basketball star discovered he had HIV, but he wasn’t stigmatized by his wife who stayed with him even though their marriage was still young.

The couple feared greatly that their son, EJ, whom Cookie was carrying at the time might contract the disease, but it turned out well as Earvin III was born HIV-free.

They, however, wanted another baby but knowing natural birth was not an option, the couple adopted a baby girl, Elisa Johnson, in 1995.

EJ who is a Hollywood star is very open about his sexuality.

The young man who is gay gets unwavering support from his family, and this can be said to have helped him accept his sexuality. His sister, Elisa who is also into entertainment appears on “Rich Kids of Beverly Hills” with her older brother, EJ.

Unlike his younger siblings, Andre lives a life completely off the public eye. This is, however, waning off after the businessman recently bared his admirable abs on the beach to the delight of his lady fans. While on vacation in Hawaii, the father-son duo looked good as they enjoy quality leisure time.

It is safe to say that the NBA legend is living his best life, surrounded by his loving family members.
