Idris & New Wife Sabrina Jet to Tanzania for an Eco-Friendly Honeymoon

Idris and Sabrina Elba are in Tanzania for their honeymoon, and they chose to have it in the beautiful Serengeti National Park that boasts of an eco-friendly hotel.

After getting married in a beautiful ceremony in Morocco, the newlyweds dashed to Tanzania for their eco-friendly safari honeymoon at the Singita Grumeti lodges. The lodges are located in northern Tanzania and span 350,000 acres of pure wilderness which is home to countless African wildlife.

An eco-friendly getaway

To get nothing but the best experiences, the Elbas stayed in the Singita Sasakwa and Singita Faru Faru.

Happy with how their honeymoon is going, both Idris and Sabrina have been sharing beautiful moments from their African adventure, showing just how much they're enjoying married life.

They chose the perfect place to spend their honeymoon in, as the Singita hotel company is known for its wildlife conservation efforts, while also trying their best to keep the wild untouched. They have won best hotel awards multiple times, and are a favorite of Ellen DeGeneres.

A beautiful wedding ceremony

Idris and Sabrina got married in a luxurious ceremony in Morocco, surrounded by their closest family and friends. The 46-year-old actor married his girlfriend of two years, and British Vogue took all the best photos of the bride and groom before the ceremony.

Idris and Sabrina got married at the Ksar Char-Bagh hotel in Marrakesh on April 26 after getting engaged in February. The actor wore a suit from Ozwald Boateng, while Sabrina wore two custom gowns by Vera Wang.

Their wedding was a three-day event, which Sabrina described as the "best day of my life."

Idris and Sabrina met while he was filming "The Mountain Between Us" in Canada, and they, later on, debuted their relationship at the Toronto International Film Festival in 2017.
