Anti-Semitic Rants, Taxidermy Gifts and Other Outrageous Things Mel Gibson Has Ever Done
Famous “Lethal Weapon” actor, Mel Gibson has always managed to top headlines and has a full history when it comes to the most shocking celebrity news.
Gibson plunged into fame after playing the role of Max Rockatansky in the award-winning action film series, “Mad Max.” His skillful works have become massively popular, which is perhaps why he still seems to be a fan favorite despite his many questionable acts.

GIBSON’S ANGER PROBLEMS
Mel Gibson is one man everyone in Hollywood knows has some serious anger issues. When questioned about the public knowledge during a “Playboy” interview in 1995, he said:
“I don't know. I get pretty dark sometimes, pretty bleak. But that passes. I rarely lose my temper anymore.”
The father of nine even went on to divulge how it'd been like back then in the past after the “Playboy” interviewer asked about times he has lost his temper. Gibson said:
“You've got to get it out. I used to just hang on to it, and then some little thing would set it off, which was stupid. You behave like an asshole when you lose it, and you feel like an asshole afterward. It's not healthy.”

Even this dark revelation of his didn't prepare anyone for his anti-Jewish tirade!
GIBSON’S ANTI-SEMITIC RANT
Netizens and the media questioned Gibson’s sanity after a series of his messages to his ex-girlfriend, Oksana Grigorieva, surfaced on the internet. At the time, the pair were in a broiling custody battle of their child after they broke up.
Although fans have always known about his angry outbursts, those were nothing compared to his nasty tirade against Jews. In 2010, a few audio recordings of a rant, reportedly directed by Gibson toward Grigorieva, surfaced online and made fans recall his racist slur against the Jews during his 2006 arrest.

The Hollywood star could be heard in one of the tapes released back then saying:
“The Jews are responsible for all the wars in the world!”
While speaking in an interview with “Playback,” he described the incident as an “unfortunate time” and even went on to accuse the police officer present of recording him without his permission. He said:
“I was loaded and angry and arrested. I was recorded illegally by an unscrupulous police officer who was never prosecuted for that crime. And then it was made public by him for profit, and by members of — we’ll call it the press. So, not fair. I guess as who I am; I’m not allowed to have a nervous breakdown, ever."

One thing that remains glaring is the fact that he didn't deny the allegations and while there has been no recurrence, it just hints at that dark personality underneath Gibson’s calm exterior.
GIBSON’S LOVE FOR INAPPROPRIATE – TAXIDERMY – PRANKS
Way before his infamous anti-Semitic scandal, Gibson was known for his taking pleasure in shocking other people, and that includes his co-stars. His perhaps most popular prank involved “Pretty Woman” star, Julia Roberts.
The “Mad Max” actor wrapped a frozen rat in an attractive package disguising it as a gift and sent it to the actress. Gibson excitedly recalled Roberts’ reaction saying:
“You could hear her screams for miles."

It may be hard to believe but the prank, which seemed like good fun to the hunky actor, became sort of traumatic for Roberts. Roberts while speaking to CBS said
“I get a little paranoid when [Gibson] is around. Yesterday I felt convinced that he was going to come into my room during an interview and do something dastardly behind me. So I kept getting this bad feeling on the back of my neck. But he's—he's really the only thing on this planet that makes me paranoid.”
It is a rather long list when it comes to compiling the names of people who have been pranked by Gibson.

They are mostly sadistic, and it just makes many people wonder if he enjoys the momentary delight he gets from the jokes or just enjoys the thought of being feared whether he is present or not.
All that seems to be a thing of the past, as he once said, and the award-winning star is doing rather well for one so infamous.
