The post was an old photo featuring Michael being held up high, and it was captioned:

"6 years is too long, every year without you is. But I know you're around. Miss you. More than anything. In this particular second, it's your laugh that I miss. I love you so much. We celebrate you today. Working hard to make you proud, I know you are, but I'll never stop working at it. Love you, dad."

A follower thoughtfully commented about just how well the young chap is doing to make his papa proud! @domenicklombardozzi said,

"Sending you positive vibes Michael. He's definitely smiling down and very proud."

In terms of making his dad beam with pride, the young blood is set to feature in a movie titled "The Many Saints of Newark," which is an HBO production. His role is that of a young man named Tony Soprano, who is webbed up in crime scenery. The movie is a prequel to the evergreen movie "Sopranos" which starred James Gandolfini as an older Tony.

The apple doesn't fall far from the tree, as both men not only star in different versions of a story, but Michael has also expressed his readiness towards achieving massive success in his career to make his dad proud and to grow professionally.

The new production dives into the life of a man named Moltisanti, who was regularly mentioned in "The Sopranos." Apart from Michael, other star actors featuring in the movie include, Corey Stoll, Ray Liotta, John Magaro, Joey Diaz, Leslie Odom Jr., and Vera Farminga.

Michael appears to be dedicated to his art, even after the tragic scene of spotting his father sprawl down on his hotel floor on the day he died.

Nothing will obliterate "The Sopranos" star from his son's memory, as he not only focused on his profession as an actor while he was alive but also spent time building a bond with his son.

James was of humble beginnings, and he struggled to climb his way to the top by engaging in different menial jobs. The actor starred in several movies such as "Summer Winds," " Naked Angels," "Tarantula Dancing," among others.

Consequently, with the way Michael is going, he will be sure to surpass his dad in terms of achievements, therby making Papa proud!
