Late Grandma Mary Duggar Holds Little Joseph in a Tribute Throwback Photo

Joseph and Kendra Duggar have shared numerous photos with fans on social media to pay tribute to late Grandma Mary Duggar.

Joseph and Kendra Duggar took to Instagram on June 13 to share a total of four photos. Each of them includes Mary, but the most heartwarming is the very first, which is an old picture of the late former estate agent.

In the photo, Mary, dressed just like the oldies in a black suit and with her face sporting a bit of makeup, is holding a tiny Joseph in her arms. With Mary’s elegant ensemble, it looks like the pair are at a special occasion and a rare moment can be savored as the stunning matriarch looked lovingly at little Joseph.

The other images look like they were taken much more recently and on different special occasions too. In the second picture, Mary is seated at a round table and with many others at what looks like a birthday bash.

The third is from a Christmas get together, and the last is of Kendra, Joseph's wife of two years, holding their first child and seated side by side with Mary.

The pictures hold a special meaning to the couple, and they revealed so in their heartfelt caption. They started the caption with:

“We miss you so much, Grandma! You were always there for all the birthdays and big events for our lives.”

The caption went on with the couple telling of how important Mary, even long after her demise, will remain to them. They wrote:

“You lived such an example of what a godly woman and dedicated soul winner should look like! You hold such a special place in each of our hearts. We love you, Grandma.”

So far, the post has amassed well over 37,000 likes, and hundreds of comments as fans took to the comments section to send out their condolences and comfort the bereaved family. ️

The death of Grandma Mary, who frequently appeared in the Duggars’ reality series “19 Kids and Counting,” was announced on the family's Facebook page. She passed away on June 9 after what the family described as accidental drowning in a swimming pool.
