Janet Jackson Slammed for 'Miming' during Energetic Glastonbury Festival Set
Janet Jackson is catching a lot of heat online as festival-goers accuse her of miming through her performance at the Glastonbury Music Festival in the United Kingdom on Saturday.
Janet, 53, brought on an energetic, buzzing performance at Glastonbury but unfortunately, it was somewhat overshadowed by complaints about her sound.

According to Daily Mail, the “Rhythm Nation” hitmaker hit the stage in a black overcoat with matching baggy pants and leather boots despite the UK’s sweltering heat. Janet styled her flaming orange curls in two vertical ponytails and wore light makeup.
BBC reported that the sister of the late King of Pop, Michael Jackson, performed a non-stop medley of 21 songs in only 50 minutes.
In sync with her dancers, she bounced off the stage while nailing one dance move after another and Janet defied her age as she kept up effortlessly despite the heat.

The only time Janet paused, according to the outlet, was to dab the sweat off her face with a towel and she moved on immediately after to the next routine.
Unlike reactions trailing her Glastonbury performance, Janet earned rave reviews in May when she made her Las Vegas residency debut
Songs that made it to Janet’s 21-track setlist included “Rhythm Nation,” “State Of The World,” “The Best Things In Life Are Free,” and “That's The Way Love Goes.”

Sadly, Janet’s performance failed to hit the mark for many concert-goers who claimed she mimed through her set.
“Janet Jackson miming here,” wrote one Twitter user probably tweeting from the festival. “Dragging her family’s good name through the mud.”
“Janet Jackson has completely mimed her way through this,” echoed another.
A third unimpressed festival-goer went as far as calling Janet’s performance the “worst.”
“Well congratulations Janet Jackson. I can safely say that this is hands down the worst Glastonbury set I’ve ever seen and there has been some shockers over the years. This though has hit new levels of dung.”
Fans of the chart-topping singer were quick to come to her rescue, however.
“Janet Jackson is pretty amazing; I can’t lie,” one fan said while another chimed in: “I love Janet Jackson, her back catalogue is fantastic!!”
Janet’s Glastonbury performance comes after she and now-estranged hubby Wissam Al Mana welcomed their son Eissa in January 2017. By April, however, it was announced that the two had split and were getting a divorce.
These days, Janet is all about raising Eissa and pursuing her music passion. Unlike reactions trailing her Glastonbury performance, Janet earned rave reviews in May when she made her Las Vegas residency debut.
Neither Janet nor her team has addressed the miming allegations.
