Kelly Ripa Shares Family Photos Celebrating Her Beloved Father's 80th Anniversary

Kelly Ripa celebrated her dad’s eightieth birthday with rare family photos and an amazing caption in a foreign language.

Joseph Ripa, the patriarch of the Ripa clan just turned eighty, and his daughter, the famous talk show host, Kelly Ripa, took to social media to celebrate him.

Kelly posted on Instagram, a video compilation of rare family photos in honor of her father, writing the caption in Italian. The caption translates into:

“Happy birthday papa! This is eighty #80; we love you with heart and soul.”

She added the flag emoji of Italy and the United States, as well as a heart and cake emoji.

The video showed images of Kelly and her dad. It equally has photos of Joseph’s wedding to the talk show host's mother, Esther, his military service, family vacations, and even an appearance in the studio with the TV star and her co-host, Ryan Seacrest.

Kelly shares a close relationship with her parents; earlier in June, the ‘90s actress celebrated Esther with a sweet post on Instagram.

The TV personality wrote alongside the photo that although her mum was not on social media, she wanted everyone to know how much she loves her; she wrote the caption in French. Kelly has been using the language for some of her captions in recent times.

In another post last month, the mum-of-four who was away on vacation with her children — Michael, Lola, and Joaquin — and her husband, Mike Consuelos, wrote the caption accompanying a throwback photo in French.

The photo showed the family in the same spot they were eight years ago, and the TV personality noted that her children had grown since the last time they vacationed there.

Kelly has also grown since she first appeared on the TV show “All My Children” in the ‘90s. She was on the show for ten years and met Consuelos on the set.

The two fell in love quickly and rather than wait to have a traditional wedding with friends and family, they eloped to Vegas to get married in ’96.

A year later, the couple welcomed their first child and the second and third came in 2001 and 2003 respectively. The TV star once said that they had their children quickly because they wanted them to grow up close.

In the years that followed, the actress went from starring in TV shows to hosting talk shows, showing that television and entertainment is her passion.
