La La Anthony in 'Legal Discussions' about Marriage, Has Been 'Living Apart' from Carmelo

La La Anthony has taken steps towards a possible life without Carmelo Anthony as she reveals exploring her legal options while living apart from the NBA star. He was recently suspected of cheating on her again.

In light of the alleged cheating scandal that’s rocking La La Anthony’s marriage to Carmelo Anthony, the “Power” star released a statement to reveal her next steps.

THE CONTROVERSIAL PHOTOS THAT MAY HAVE ROCKED THEIR MARRIAGE

Last week, photos of Carmelo on board a yacht with a mystery woman were splashed all over the news. The timeline of the questionable images coincided with his wife’s birthday which she spent partying with friends including Kim Kardashian.

Suspicions arose that there was trouble in their newly reconciled marriage pointing a finger at Carmelo’s philandering ways again despite his efforts to deny them.

Throughout the ups and downs of their union, the couple remained committed to co-parenting their son, Kiyan. In fact, La La’s latest statement addressing their current situation still places importance in their 12-year-old.

A HISTORY OF THEIR MARRIAGE'S UPS AND DOWNS

Back in 2017, La La split from the NBA star after rumors of him impregnating another woman hit headlines. By December 2018, the couple seemed to have worked out their problems as they were spotted spending time with each other once again.

The following February, La La opened up to Hollywood Life about their reconciliation and admitted they were “still working through some things” but revealed she was “in a much better place.”

THE FUTURE ACCORDING TO LA LA

Throughout the ups and downs of their union, the couple remained committed to co-parenting their son, Kiyan. In fact, La La’s latest statement addressing their current situation still places importance in their 12-year-old.

The statement released by the 36-year-old’s representative disclosed that she and Carmelo “have been living apart for quite some time.” It adds,

“La La is proceeding with legal discussions as the next step in their relationship. They will remain loving and committed parents to their son."

The statement did not reveal the reason for the split nor did it address the latest cheating allegations. It’s sad to hear that the couple may be headed to divorce after trying to work out their marriage which spans nine years by July 10. Perhaps, they will remain friends after all this as La La once said following their 2017 split,

“We are the best of friends. I've been with Melo since he was 19 years old. You're not with somebody that long, and it just goes out the window."

Here‘s hoping their relationship survives the current climate and if the marriage won’t, at least their friendship will.
