Keshia Knight Pulliam Sparks Dating Rumors after Birthday Message for Actor Brad James
Keshia Knight-Pulliam sent dating rumors into high gear after posting a lovely birthday message to her alleged new man, fellow actor Brad James. It appears there have been more signs all along, however.
Knight-Pulliam has been through quite a lot in recent years -- enduring divorce and having the paternity of her child questioned publicly -- but now it appears the former child star is giving love a second chance.
On July 7, Knight-Pulliam took to Instagram with a video of her and James, 38, being goofy. Along with a love emoji, she wrote:
“Happy Birthday to my favorite guy.”
The “Cosby Show” alum’s title for James was enough to get speculations going, but there were even more pointers in the comments section.
When singer Ne-Yo’s ex-wife Monyetta Shaw popped in to say “oh... Y’all cute & stuff!!!” Knight-Pulliam did not bother to debate heir “cuteness” and only replied with “love you.”

PREVIOUS SIGNS
Apparently, many of us are late to the Knight-Pulliam-James party as MadameNoire noted that the two have been exchanging playful comments and kissy face emojis on Instagram for quite some time now.
When the “Tyler Perry's House of Payne” star turned 40 in April, James posted a befitting shout-out where he wished her “a very special Birthday” and did not forget to include the kissy face emoji.
PAST RELATIONSHIPS
James, who is known for starring in “Tyler Perry's For Better or Worse,” was previously linked to TLC singer Chilli while Knight-Pulliam was married to former NFL player, Ed Hartwell.
The actress and Hartwell tied the knot on New Year’s 2016, but he filed for divorce six months later. Hartwell also requested a paternity test to confirm that the child Knight-Pulliam was carrying at the time truly belonged to him.
ONE FAILED MARRIAGE
The test came back positive, and Knight-Pulliam went on to welcome their daughter, Ella Grace, on January 23, 2017.
After a lengthy and messy back-and-forth that played out in the media, Hartwell and the New Jersey native’s divorce was finalized in April 2018, with Knight-Pulliam gaining custody of their daughter and Hartwell being ordered to pay $3,000+ per month in child support.
If the speculations surrounding Knight-Pulliam and James are indeed correct, we wish her all the best with love this time.
