Savannah Guthrie perfectly mimicked Kate Middleton's expression at the Wimbledon finals because she shared the Duchess' same sentiments about the tight match.

Guthrie, a news anchor on NBC's "The Today Show," apparently supported the same player the Duchess of Cambridge did during Sunday's Men's Singles Finals at Wimbledon.

Roger Federer rallied against Novak Djokovic for the acclaimed title and the outcome saw the latter win it all. Guthrie, who is a Federer support, would have been watching the major while her favorite player was in action.

Also watching was Kate Middleton, who sat in the royal box along with the Duchess of Sussex Meghan Markle. Both women did a back to back since they also attended the Women's Single Finals the previous day.

For this match, though, Middleton's facial expressions came in a variety including joy, fear, shock and disappointment, and Guthrie related to at least this one. On Tuesday, she posted a side by side of her imitating Middleton's hands-to-cheeks look made during the match.

Guthrie captioned the post: "How we both felt watching the Wimbledon final." Her look in the eye was right on point with Middleton's, and she even wore a similar pink lip as the duchess.

In the comments, several people concurred with Guthrie as they too were in support of Federer. Elsewhere, a collection of Middleton's expressions was pulled together.

The Duchess, adorned in a blue Emilia Wickstead dress on Sunday, made several faces including one where she completely covered her face with both hands, another in which she appeared to be saying "oof," and then another when she may have said "aah."

Middleton was also accompanied by her husband Prince William. The two arrived early to meet with senior members of the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club. The game ended with a tiebreak at 12-12 in the fifth set and Djokovic triumphed for his 16th Wimbledon title.

Indeed, Sunday's match led to a ball of emotions for many people, who had to endure the intense battle which would go on to become the longest Men's Singles Finals in Wimbledon history.

As for Guthrie, she's been with NBC since 2007, making a name for herself the next year during her coverage of Sarah Palin's vice-presidential race. These days, she's giving back in the form of dancing for a cause.

Guthrie's co-host on "The Today Show" Hoda Kotb tagged her in the Dance or Donate challenge earlier this week and she didn't back down. On Tuesday, she busted moves to House of Pain's "Jump Around."

In an adorable twist, Guthrie's daughter Vale, four, also joined in with some of her own steps. The mother-daughter duo are assisting with raising funds for the United Cancer Front through the awareness campaign which was originally started by Lilly Tartikoff.

Tartikoff initially tagged Kotb, who went on to tag Guthrie, Jennifer Lopez, and Thomas Rhett. In turn, Guthrie tagged Lester Holt, Chuck Todd, and Stephanie Ruhle.

Guthrie shares her daughter with husband Michael Vale, whom she wed back in 2014. They also have a son called Charles Max Feldman. We wonder who Michael was supporting during Sunday's match.
