Donny & Marie Osmond Ask Fans to Pray for Their Brother Tom Who Is on Life Support

Donny and Marie Osmond called for prayers and support for their brother, Tom, who is fighting for his life at the moment. Tom recently underwent a surgical procedure, and his siblings want fans to pray for his recovery.

The Osmonds are a family of great musicians and a united bunch as they are always there for one another in times of need.

Danny and Marie Osmond showed this unity and love when each of them called for prayers towards the quick recovery of their brother, Tom, who recently had surgery. The 71-year-old is currently on life support, and many thoughts are with the family in this difficult period.

DONNY AND MARIE’S TWITTER CALL

Donny’s tweet, which came on July 10 gave information about Tom’s current situation and surgery. He explained that Tom had undergone quadruple bi-pass surgery and was currently on life support, fighting to hang on.

Donny went on to say that the family doesn't know what the future holds, but that it is in the Lord’s hands. He then asked fans for their thoughts and prayers on Tom’s behalf, as the Osmonds would appreciate it greatly. Accompanying Donny’s tweet was a childhood picture of him and Tom.

Marie Osmond also tweeted about her brother, who was born deaf. In her tweet, she explained that her sweet brother, Tom, also the second eldest in the Osmond Family was facing the fight of his life and was an example of Jesus' love.

She also said that Tom's heart was broken and contrite. She ended her tweet by stating that she loved her brother and gave a link to the family’s website so that fans could see why Tom needed prayers.

OTHER FAMILY MEMBERS ASK FOR PRAYERS

Other Members of the family also sent their well-wishes, prayers, and call for support for Tom on the Family’s Facebook page.

Another member of the family, Alan Osmond also took to Twitter to call for prayers for Tom before he went in for surgery. In the tweet, Alan explained that Tom was going in for surgery the next day, and asked fans to keep him in prayers.

The Osmonds reached the peak of their musical fame in the 70s and have been in the public eye since their musical careers began. Fans and well-wishers alike would be hoping for Tom’s quick recovery.
