Fantasia Barrino and Kendall Taylor are now five years in matrimony, and the couple celebrated the day with a romantic dinner. Fantasia shared a video of the couple’s intimate dinner with her fans on Instagram.

The lovely couple celebrated their fifth anniversary in grand style with a romantic dinner, planned by Kendall. Fantasia shared short clips of the special dinner on her Instagram page, and her fans were excited for her and wished the couple well.

It is great to see the singer and her husband reach another milestone, considering the difficult past Fantasia, in particular, went through.

FANTASIA’S VIDEO POST

The video posted on Instagram by the singer came in three parts and showed moments from their romantic dinner. The video began with an introductory caption which read:

“The Taylors.”

It then showed a violinist playing, a chef, the couple’s dinner menu list, and their happy faces as they stared into each other’s eyes and conversed while sitting on white chairs.

The soft music in the background then drifted to a song by Fantasia, showed the pianist, as well as some of the couple’s dishes for the day. It also showed the spiritual couple praying and laughing with one another.

The last part of the video showed Fantasia describing the way Kendall grabbed her the first time explaining that she loved it.

The video’s ending parts showed the beautiful light works to commemorate their anniversary. The singer captioned her post by thanking her husband for five strong years, beckoning on him to make more years with her. She also shouted out to those who made the night special and unforgettable.

WHY FANTASIA SAID YES TO KENDALL

The singer went through a topsy-turvy past, with success coming her way after she won the American Idol in 2004, before going on to record huge success through her album.

She, however, went through a difficult period, culminating in a nasty divorce case with her ex-boyfriend, Antwuan Cook. Fantasia survived a suicide attempt, and after that period, she became determined to love herself more.

She met Kendall in that period of self-love, and after dating for three weeks, the lovebirds got married. One would think that the short courtship would lead to problems for the couple, but Fantasia revealed that she knew Kendall was the one for her when he asked to pray for her.

This is because she had asked God, while fasting from relationships, to give her a man who would pray for her, take care of her kids, and be the man of the house. Hence, she knew it was Kendall when he made the prayer request.

THE TAYLORS' SPECIAL LOVE

The couple is deeply in love and their first wedding anniversary celebration was a surprise to everyone. This is because the couple renewed their vows, and got married again, for the second time.

Now in their fifth year of marriage, the sweet pair continues to wax strong, to everyone’s amazement.
