Toya Wright isn’t rushing to get married to her boyfriend, or so he says. Robert Rushing reveals the mother of his daughter, Reign is scared.

TOYA SHARES WHAT HER FUTURE WITH HER BOYFRIEND WOULD LOOK LIKE

In the wake of the surge of social media posts of couples physically aged by the trending FaceApp, Toya joined the bandwagon to find out what her future with her boyfriend of two years would look like. The app which ages a person's face by decades revealed wrinkles and white hair, but Toya appeared to be pleased with how good Robert still looked. “This man is so pretty,” she captioned the pic.

Many thought a marriage proposal was on the way when Toya gushed about a surprise date Robert sprung on her last month.

ROBERT RESPONDS WITH A "SCARED" THOUGHT

Little did she know then that her post would urge Robert, nicknamed Red, to tease her about marriage and reveal the real reason they’re still not hitched despite already being parents to their one-year-old. In Toya’s comments section, the sports manager wrote, “And she’s still scared to get married.” Regardless, he added the hashtag #StillTogether.

Toya and Red went public with their relationship in 2017 and welcomed Reign in February 2018.

Many thought a marriage proposal was on the way when Toya gushed about a surprise date Robert sprung on her last month. He whisked her to another city on a private jet for a weekend getaway. They enjoyed a sky-high dinner for two complemented by bouquets of red roses and a box of chocolates.

The romantic date didn’t lead to a proposal and we now know why. Robert may be cautious to get down on one knee knowing Toya has the jitters.

TOYA STILL HAS APPREHENSIONS DUE TO HER PAST

The reality star seemed to confirm this when she opened up about the prospect of marriage during this season's “T.I. and Tiny: Friends and Family Hustle.” She admitted being scared to take the leap with Red, but she also believes he will be good for her.

Toya and Red went public with their relationship in 2017 and welcomed Reign in February 2018. Toya has had two failed marriages in the past. The first was with Lil Wayne who fathered her daughter, Reginae Carter when she was only 15. They were only married for two years. Toya moved on to wed Memphitz in 2011and stayed married to him for four years. She later admitted being abused by the former music producer.

It’s understandable why Toya would be cautious about tying the knot again. Marriage didn’t seem to favor her in the past. That doesn’t mean, though, that Robert will repeat the same mistakes her exes made. In fact, his recent actions reveal how devoted he is to make his girlfriend happy.

Maybe time is all Toya needs to soften up to the idea of getting hitched.
