A

to draw pictures depicting their favorite bible stories. The kids were all eager to draw and there was a mad rush to the crayon boxes.

She spent a quiet hour walking around the class, appreciating their imagery. There were a lot of pictures of Noah and all the animals.

Eventually, she saw an unusual picture that caught her eye and stopped. She was puzzled by Little Johnny's picture and couldn't for the life of her figure out what story in the bible he had drawn.

The picture showed four people on an airplane. The teacher smiled at him and asked which story it was meant to represent.

“The Flight to Egypt,” was his reply.

Understanding dawned on her and she pointed at each figure: “That must be Mary, Joseph, and Baby Jesus. But who’s the fourth person?”

“Oh, that’s Pontius – the pilot!”

I can't decide if Little Johnny is really clever thinking in this way or if he hasn't been paying attention in Bible class!
