Brotherhood of the Wolf is a historical French horror. The cast includes Samuel Le Bihan, Mark Dacascos, Émilie Dequenne, Monica Bellucci and Vincent Cassel.

The story was based on a real-life story of a serial killer in France in the 18th century. In the film, the Chevalier de Fronsac and Mani of the Iroquois tribe are investigating the mysterious slaughter of hundreds of people in the province of Gévaudan.

The Brothers Grimm was released in 2005. It is an adventure fantasy film directed by Terry Gilliam and starring Matt Damon, Heath Ledger, and Lena Headey.

The film is an exaggerated and fictitious portrait of the Brothers Grimm who were traveling con-artists in French-occupied Germany in the early 19th century. The brothers encounter a genuine fairy-tale curse which forces them to use actual courage instead of their usually faked exorcism-like shows.

The film's cast also included Peter Stormare, Jonathan Pryce, and Monica Bellucci who played various important supporting characters.
