Meet 'Kung Fu' Star David Carradine's Son Tom Who Has a 7-Year-Old Son & Is a Successful Actor

Late “Kung Fu” star, David Caradine has a son who followed in his father’s footsteps by becoming an actor. His name is Tom Caradine, who now has a family and is the proud father of a 7-year-old boy.

David Caradine lived an impactful life, and was famous for his roles as a movie director, and his hit television film, “Kung Fu.”

If not well known during his lifetime, his controversial death was one that did not go unheard of, as it kept making the headlines several years after.

DAVID CARADINE’S SON

David Caradine had a son with Barbara Hershey, with whom he was in a relationship for several years. However, the couple got separated years after their son, Tom Caradine, was born.

According to Barbara, the separation was inevitable because their relationship at the time was taking a negative toll on her acting career. As much as the pair were famous hit stars at the time, their relationship did not gain the approval of the public.

HE GREW UP WITHOUT HIS DAD

One of the controversies that led to the diminishing views of their hit series and made the couple a questionable pair happened during one of their joint appearances at “Dick Caveat’s” talk show.

The then-new mother suddenly began breastfeeding her son, baby Tom in the middle of the show, before the glaring cameras. That caused the show a significant loss, as viewers expressed their distaste.

The couple’s career also suffered for that, which eventually led to their separation. Tom grew up with his mother, who raised him to become an actor, just like his parents.

MEET TOM’S FAMILY

Born in 1972, the Caradine’s son is now forty-seven years old, an actor like his predecessors, and a married man with an amazing family.

A photo on Tom’s Instagram revealed his beautiful family of three. The pic, which was shared in April last year was captioned:

“Happy Sixth Birthday to my Mini-Me” Andrew!”

The shot featured the actor, rocking his spiky mustache, and his wife, both holding their now seven-year-old son, Andrew.

David Caradine died on June 2009 at the age of 72; his body was found by a chambermaid in a five-star hotel in Thailand, hanging naked in a closet, with a cord around his neck.

The cause of death was ruled out as asphyxiation, resulting from an autoerotic sex act, by the Thailand police, but his family was convinced that he was murdered.

The Caradine’s are reputed as a family of actors, from David’s father to David and then his son, Tom. There is no doubt that this seven-year-old, who is now in the spotlights, would take off in that direction.
