Duggars Post Baby Bump Photo of Kendra on Her 21st Birthday
The Duggars take to social media to show off yet another expectant Duggar mother's baby bump.
"Counting On" reality TV stars, The Duggars, recently took to their official Instagram handle to post a picture of Joseph Duggar and his wife, Kendra Caldwell, in honour of Kendra's 21st birthday celebration.
The picture featured the duo standing close to each other with rosy cheeks and contented smiles plastered across their faces.
Pregnancy agrees with Kendra Caldwell as she seems to be glowing as she gently cradled her growing baby bump. Kendra's in-laws had a lengthy caption to go with the post as they expressed love and admiration towards her.
The caption read:
"Happy birthday, Kendra!! There are so many reasons we love you! God has gifted you in a multitude of ways, and your cheerful personality is the cherry on top!! We are blessed that Joe has such an incredible wife who loves the Lord and others the way you do. Can't wait to meet your new little one this Fall!"
In the comments section, there were criticisms as well as encouragement from the Duggar fans and followers with a good percentage of said criticisms aimed at
who they accused of attempting to make Kendra into a "baby machine."
The couple announced on December 18, 2017, that they were expecting their first child and on June 8, 2018, Kendra gave birth to her first child, a son they named Garrett David Duggar.
The news was met with much jubilation, and fans and family had congratulated the couple.
However, after Kendra announced on April 11, 2019, that she is expecting her second child, fans started expressing concern over her physical well-being with some referring to her as no more than a child herself.
Having come from an equally large conservative Christian family herself, Kendra does not seem to mind and feels she is well suited to the Duggar lifestyle. Kendra's mother is reportedly on her eighth child and has shown no signs of stopping.
For the past couple of weeks, the couple has received lots of backlash after they posted a picture of eleven-months-old Garett and captioned it with a seemingly sexist comment.
The caption read:
"He's such a boy."
The post featured the cute infant seated on their porch, playing with a twig. While a good percentage of fans in the comments section thought nothing of the statement, some took offense and said as much.
A fan wrote:
"Girls can do that to! Not just a boy thing."
Another
:
"All kids do this. There is literally no difference in boys and girls personalities as infants and toddlers, you're just pushing this onto your kids like it was pushed onto you. So destructive for children who don't fit those moulds."
The baby is expected to arrive in Fall, and one can't help but wonder when the next one will be coming along.
