'Queen Sugar's Dondré T. Whitfield Shares Rare Photo of Wife Salli Richardson & Their 2 Children
The celebrity pair, Dondre Whitfield and Salli Richardson have been married for over sixteen years, with two beautiful children between them. The 50-year-old actor shared a picture of his wife and two kids on social media, as he proudly displayed his family of four.
Actor, Dondre Whitfield posted a rare family picture of his wife, Salli Richardson, and thier two kids, Parker and Dre. The photo showed the family posing for a selfie, which was taken by the actor.
The family of four were all smiles in the picture which was captured on a busy street, on a family night out to honor the Sziget Music Festival.
“About Last Night… The end of our Sziget Music Festival… my babies!!!” the fifty-year-old wrote in his lengthy caption.
The father of two also used the medium to express his appreciation for being blessed with such a great family and also be the kind of man who can serve as a role model for his kids. He went further to point out the difficulty in being a father, and the head of a family, tagging it as:
“The toughest job in the world.”
However, taking up the world’s toughest job has not daunted the actor from loving his family or his career. The star has taken up roles in several movies including “Queen Sugar” and “Real Husbands of Hollywood.”
Following closely in the movie achievements is his actress wife, the star of the popular series, “Low Down, Dirty Shame,” who is also the director of one of Dondre’s latest movie, “Queen Sugar.”
Despite their colliding movie careers, the pair have survived sixteen years together, without the usual Hollywood drama.
The couple got married in 2002, after dating for several years. Although Salli was a year older than her actor beau, love prevailed, and the pair made it work. Their first child arrived in 2005, and then three years later, their son was born, cementing their union, and making them a beautiful family of four.
Their fourteen-year-old daughter got her first taste of the spotlight as a child, not as an actor like her parents, but as a child model for top brands like Nordstrom’s Mia Chica Kid’s Clothing Line.
Considering how adorable these kids are, they are well on their way to making it big in the movie industry, like their parents. And if they are as talented as they are cute, they would achieve that without good old nepotism coming into play.
