Daily Mail: Wendy Williams Cancels NJ Comedy Show at Last Minute Then Goes Partying with Cardi B
Wendy Williams canceled her comedy show but then was seen partying with her son Kevin Hunter Jr, Snoop Dogg and Cardi B.
Wendy Williams had been touting her forthcoming comedy show set to take place in Newark, New Jersey on Saturday night, but less than 48 hours before the event, it was canceled.
The venue claimed that it was a scheduling conflict, but sources close to Williams hint at other motives.
WERE TICKET SALES THE REASON?
The show, "Wendy Williams & Friends Comedy Tour," which would include comedians Carmen Barton, Mark Viera, Kristen Sivills and Royale Watkin, as well as Williams as the headliner apparently was not a success as far as ticket sales went.
It is alleged by inside sources that less than 30% of the available tickets had been sold which would have been quite a let down for Williams.
It is probable that the rest of the tour might suffer a similar fate
WAS THE MOTIVE CLOSER TO HOME?
Of course, Williams' reason for canceling the show might have been closer to home. Her son Kevin Hunter Jr. turned 19 years old, and she was seen out on the town celebrating.
PARTY TIME WITH CARDI B
Williams and her son were seen partying and celebrating with Snoop Dog and Cardi B. The talk show host posted several photos on Instagram, of herself Snoop Dog and Kevin and captioned it:
"Nothing like Uncle @snoopdogg on your 19th birthday!!"
WENDY WILLIAMS ALSO CANCELED SHOWS IN DETROIT AND ST.PETERSBURG
This isn't the first time Williams cancels a show and is seen partying instead. Fans who had brought tickets for the Detroit and St. Petersburg were also disappointed.
It is probable that the rest of the tour might suffer a similar fate since ticket sales are not meeting Williams' or the promoter's expectations.
Of course, with most tickets priced at $95, it just might be that Williams placed her show out of reach for her target audience.
WENDY WILLIAMS HINTS AT NEW ROMANCE?
The recently separated Wendy Williams has been enjoying the single life, and rumors have been linking her to several eligible men.
She was recently photographed linking arms with her audience producer Marco Glorious while leaving Whole Foods near her recording studio, and of course, speculation was rife.
But Williams took the whole matter with a pinch of salt, and posted the snap on her Instagram captioned:
"WOW me & my audience producer @marcoglorious! I've got some explaining to do September 16th?"
Williams is having such a good time being single again, that it's hard to believe she'll be settling down again any time soon.
