Lisa Rinna and Harry Hamlin are officially empty nesters. The couple, who are parents to models, Delilah Belle Hamlin and Amelia Gray Hamlin, have helped their college bound daughter settle in to her new home.
Lisa Rinna, the star of “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills,” and her husband, Harry Hamlin travelled to New York with their youngest daughter, Amelia.
The proud parents were there to help her move into a new apartment. Sharing a picture of Amelia unpacking, Rinna writes:
“And just like that they take flight. #CollegeBound ?”
In the light-hearted picture, Amelia leans on a pack of power towels, while balancing tissue paper on her head, with a paintbrush in her hand. It seems the college student is already stocking up on some essentials for her new apartment.
In a precious family moment, Rinna posts a picture with her daughter and husband. Proving just how hard those last moments were, Rinna captions the picture with several crying emojis.
Her “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills,” co-stars join in to support the mother of two, during what is clearly an emotional time in her life.
For most empty nesters, saying goodbye is bittersweet. Rinna has always been a hands-on mom and maintained a close relationship with both her daughters.
Coming home to an empty house seems to be taking its toll on the star. On her Instagram Stories, she continues to post cryptic messages about being an empty nester and photos of her daughters, expressing how much she misses them.
The bitter side of empty nesting is not so pretty but the sweet is inspiring. Amelia, who opened up about struggling with anorexia is going to be studying nutrition, wellness, and psychology.
According to PEOPLE, Rinna made the announcement to her castmates, during a taping of “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.”
In an exclusive interview with Glamour, Amelia expresses how she hopes to use her platform to help other people dealing with an eating disorder, she says:
“Learning about how to nourish my body and how to fuel my body with the foods that make my body happy and energized makes me feel good.”
Considering how much her personal struggle has influenced her choice of study, Amelia’s college aspiration is setting up young women to be a role-Model.
