Lil Wayne and Toya Wright's Daughter Reginae Buys Her First Home at 20 Years Old

Congratulations are in order for the daughter of Lil Wayne and Toya Wright who just became a homeowner at the age of 20.

Reginae Carter took to Instagram a few days ago with photos of what she revealed is her “dream home.”

The average 20-year-old is probably still worried about college, but when you’re the offspring of a platinum-selling rapper dad and a reality star mom, life can pan out differently.

Today is a big day for me!” Reginae captioned. “At the age of 20 years old, I just got the keys to my own house.”

She continued:

“I’m a homeowner now. So blessed and thankful! This process was the most tedious process I’ve ever had to be apart of in my life lol but I’m so glad it’s finally over! Big thanks to @b_luxurious for helping me find my dream home. House warming coming soon! Imma need MTV cribs to come holla at me lol!”

“Congratulations girlie!! You deserve it and so much more!!” said one fan in the comments.

“Congratulations. Your growth has been amazing,” echoed another. “I know that both of your parents are very proud as they should be. Continue to flourish young [woman].”

TV APPEARANCES

Reginae did not say whether her new home was a gift from mom and dad, but even though she may not have asked for their money, growing up with fame and wealth doesn't hurt.

Reginae has appeared on several TV shows including “Growing Up Hip Hop” and can currently be seen alongside Wright, 35, on the VH1 reality series “T.I. & Tiny: Friends & Family Hustle.” She also starred in the 2019 TV movie “Pride & Prejudice: Atlanta.”

Beyond TV, Reginae also has a combined following of nearly 5 million on Instagram and Twitter, where she endorses various brands, including clothing lines, weight loss, and beauty products.

Reginae is no longer the little girl Wayne and Wright had at 16 and 15 respectively. Even before becoming a homeowner, the young lady insisted on making decisions in her relationship outside of anyone’s input.

For a while now, Reginae has been in an on/off relationship with rapper YFN Lucci despite disapproval from most quarters, including her mother.

During a recent radio stop, Reginae insisted that she’s going to do whatever makes her happy even if that involves making mistakes.

“My thing is, I want my mom to be happy and I want to be happy, but it’s like, you’ve got to go through things to get through things, and I’m young.”
