'The Bachelorette' Rachel Lindsay Ties the Knot with Bryan Abasolo
Rachel Lindsay from "The Bachelorette" has finally tied the knot with the love of her life, Bryan Abasolo, on Saturday in front of friends and family.
It has been reported that the couple exchanged vows at the Royalton Suites Cancún in Mexico, on Saturday, and that the ceremony was filled with incredible joy.
According to wedding planner Michael Russo, Lindsay was "the epitome of elegance and grace as she walked down the aisle" towards an eager Abasolo.
Russo also claimed that, while they exchanged vows, the unbridled emotion and powerful connection between them could be felt by everyone in the room.
HOW DID ABASOLO PROPOSE TO HER
Lindsay and Abasolo were engaged for two years before saying "I do" and the proposal will forever be one of the most special moments in the former bachelorette's life.
They were in Spain when the Bachelor Nation watched Abasolo get on one knee on top of a castle and propose to the woman who would end up becoming his wife.
At the time, Lindsay couldn't hide her excitement and even confessed that she blanked out on what she was saying:
“It was like an out-of-body experience to hear the words that he was saying to me. I blanked out on what I was saying — I meant it and it was from the heart, but it was just so surreal that it was happening."
THE CEREMONY ALMOST ENDED UP ON TV
The 34-year-old was overwhelmed and later revealed that she wanted to televise the ceremony. Ultimately, she chose not to because she was afraid something horrible would happen.
She said:
"As we got to know each other in the real world and things became normalized then I started hearing horror stories about these TV weddings, I am very thankful that we don’t have one and that we’re doing it on our own."
Now, the couple will be looking forward to building a family together, which means that children may be on the way. According to Abasolo, he wants three while Lindsay wants four.
