The American-Ethiopian model became a mother in 2017 with a son whom she shares with her boyfriend, Tyler Perry, an actor, and comedian. Although confirmations about tying the knot have not surfaced, the couple has been together for quite some time.

Mid-last year, a post by Grammy Award-winning singer Sraphanie Mills caused speculation of a secret marriage between the couple occurred as she referred to Bekele as Perry’s wife.

However, it is possible that Mills assumed their civil status or simply referred to her as his wife because of the fact that they share a son. No confirmation or denial has been made about the issue.
