The holiday season is over, and for children, it means it is “back to school time.” The Duchess of Cambridge, Kate Middleton, and her husband, Prince William dropped their children, George and Charlotte off at school, with Kate wearing a floral midi dress.
Kate Middleton and her husband were all smiles when they dropped their children, Prince George and Princess Charlotte off at their school. The occasion was made more special as it marked Charlotte’s first day at school, and her proud parents shared pictures of the day on their official Instagram page.
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s official Instagram page, Kensington Royal posted a picture of the royal couple each holding one of their children and carrying their school bags.
A smiling Prince William wore a blue jacket over a sky blue shirt and coffee trousers, which matched his coffee suede shoes. He carried his son’s bag on his left hand, and held on to George, in his usual calm self, wearing his school uniform.
An equally smiling Kate Middleton wore a lovely floral midi dress, with a belt at the waist. She also carried Charlotte’s bag on her left hand, holding on to the excited Princess.
The Royal Kids attend Thomas’s Battersea School, where Charlotte would be joining her brother for the first time, as he was previously enrolled into the school.
The Duchess’s dress, a red and white printed gown designed by Michael Kors, also known as the “Carnation Dress” is priced at $264 and looked to be the perfect dress for the occasion.
The Duchess matched her dress with a black belt and high heels. Her hair was loose, while her makeup was light, giving her a great look.
This would mark the 4-year-old’s first day at the London Thomas’s Battersea School. The occasion was made more special for the little Princess as both her parents joined her on her very first day, something her 6-year-old brother didn’t have.
George was accompanied by only his father on his first day at the school, as his mom was then pregnant with Prince Louis. A source revealed that Charlotte wouldn’t have any problems adjusting to her new school environment as she is more of an outgoing person than her brother.
The Royal children’s return to school comes after an eventful summer holiday which saw them partake in numerous fun trips and activities.
