Dwayne Johnson Left Honeymoon with Lauren Hashian to Guest Star on Kelly Clarkson's Talk Show Replacing Kevin Hart
Dwayne Johnson makes headlines as he selflessly leaves his honeymoon early to serve as Kelly Clarkson's first guest in place of his close friend, Kevin Hart.
Full of glee, Clarkson took to Twitter on Wednesday, September 4, to commend Dwayne's selfless act. She shared a video which runs for about one minute and features her telling the circumstances surrounding Dwayne's guest appearance.
"When Dwayne @TheRock Johnson leaves his honeymoon early to be the first guest," Clarkson wrote to action the video clip.
FANS COMMEND DWAYNE'S THOUGHTFULNESS
The tweet elicited several reactions from netizens as many took time out to share loving words for "The Rock" as he is famously called.
In reply, one fan, @shardylan tweeted:
"Doesn't surprise me & he comes across as Such a lovely guy. Bet he smells good too #notjealousatall."
While another, @1minutegoesfast offered words of encouragement to Clarkson, saying:
"Aw, I can already tell Kelly is going to rock this talk show thing."
Clarkson, an accomplished figure in the music industry, only started her very own talk show. Things would have gotten messy had Dwayne not made an appearance. According to reports, Clarkson's original guest was "Night School" star Kevin Hart.
"HIS WIFE PROBABLY HATES ME," SAYS KELLY CLARKSON
Unfortunately, the plan went to pieces after Hart was involved in a car accident. Following the auto crash, the actor suffered extensive back injuries and was immediately hospitalized. Then comes in Dwayne (who was still on his honeymoon) to save Clarkson's show!
"This is real," Clarkson said in a clip tweeted out on Wednesday. "His wife probably hates me." (On the contrary: Johnson tweeted that wife Lauren Hashian "approved cos she LOVES Kelly.")
CELEBRITIES TAKE TO SOCIAL MEDIA TO OPENLY SUPPORT KEVIN HART
The show, titled "The Kelly Clarkson Show," is set to make its debut on September 9 and fans can't wait. Sadly, the news doesn't dissipate the significant implications of Hart's accident which has been revealed to be a" single-car accident."
The accident reportedly happened on Sunday in Calabasas, California, and the driver of the car, who remains anonymous, was equally injured. Fortunately, Hart's emergency surgery went well and his wife, Eniko Parrish, explained that he's "going to be just fine," while speaking to TMZ.
Since the startling news surfaced, Hart's fellow celebrities have reached out to him and his family with words of comfort. The long list includes, of course, Dwayne Johnson, Jamie Foxx, Terrence J, Mindy Kaling, Yvette Nicole Brown, Terry Crews, and many others.
Get well soon, Kevin!
