Days after announcing his surprise wedding, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson is basking in more good news as he leads Forbes’ 2019 list of world’s highest-paid actors.

The Rock, 47, clinched the juicy spot after earning $89.4 million between June 1, 2018, and June 1, 2019, according to Forbes.

“It has to be audience first,” the former wrestler told the publication last year when he also topped the list. “What does the audience want, and what is the best scenario that we can create that will send them home happy?”

Johnson’s estimated earning comes from his many screen roles in movies like the Fast and Furious spin-off “Hobbs & Shaw,” the 2018 Rawson Marshall Thurber-directed action film “Skyscraper,” and the HBO comedy “Ballers,” which brings in $700,000 per episode.

OTHER INCOME STREAMS

Johnson also rakes in up to seven figures in royalties from his clothing, shoes, and headphones line with “Under Armour” while his pay stems heavily from his high-grossing franchise movies where he gets up to 15% of the pool.

His highest quote yet, however, comes from the forthcoming “Jumanji: The Next Level” for which he will collect an upfront salary of up to $23.5 million, per Forbes.

The “Thor” star raked in $76.4 million for his work with Marvel and the reboot Men In Black: International while the man known as Iron Man came close with $66 million.

BIG WEEK FOR THE ROCK

Indian actor Akshay Kumar, Chinese martial arts legend Jackie Chan, Bradley Cooper and Adam Sandler also follow on the list in that order.

Meanwhile, it’s been quite the happy week for Johnson, who tied the knot with his longtime girlfriend, Lauren Hashian at the start of the week.

HERE COME THE NEWLYWEDS

In one of the pictures, the newlyweds posed against an idyllic backdrop of the Hawaiian clouds and ocean, wearing some of the brightest smiles we’ve ever seen.

Johnson looked dapper in a slightly unbuttoned white shirt and matching pants while his 34-year-old bride wore a white sleeveless lace dress with a plunging neckline and long train. In a second photo, the newlyweds shared a kiss by the edge of the water.

Johnson and Hashian first met in 2006 and started dating a year later after the former wrestler divorced his first wife, film producer Dany Garcia. Johnson and Garcia were married for ten years and now co-parent their daughter, Simone, 18.

The actor welcomed his first child with Hashian, daughter Jasmine, in December 2015 while their second daughter, Tia, was born in April 2018.

Congratulations to Dwayne Johnson for the second time this week.
